Hi All,
I got this set just a few days back and am finding the battery back-up extremely pathetic. The battery gets down just after 45 mints if conversation and the Stand-by is not even 1 day unlike other nokia phones. And the most horrible thing is that it takes 3 hrs for the battery to get fully charged. And then gets dump in jst 1 hr. Isnt that amazing??? Please let me know if you all are facing the similar problem or it's only with my set??????????????

got d fone a coupl o days bak.....tho d sound quality is not exceptional its a pretty good fone...jus remember 2 remove d plastic 4m d top o d camera(theres a thin layer) oderwise d pics appear hazy at d edges....d biggest downside is dat d slider leaves a scratch at d bottom o d keypad...dats not good at all

as usual nokia produce really bad designs they need to learn something from SONY audio quality is nothing in comparison with SONY.I cant even distinguish their models unless i read model no. .This phone is no exception.when will they produce a device that can compete with SONY

Just got this phone a few days ago. Since this is not a high end phone, don't expect too much from it. Regarding the camera, doing the following might help: remove the plastic cover protecting the camera; set picture quality at medium. If you do these, the camera seems O.K. If you want to improve the sound quality, get a 3.5mm to 2.5mm headphone adapter and use a good headphone to listen to music. Slide the slider carefully and you won't get any scratches on the lower keys. Since the navigation and soft keys are big, it is quite easy to use this phone. This phone is for people who want a good basic phone, but with some extra goodies thrown in. I bought it for its small size. If you want a phone that gives you the works, then go for a Nokia N96 or a SE c905. Since I've already got a very good digital camera and a Cowon D2, this phone is really good for me.

Hello.I've been using 3600 slide since 27th of last month.
As I'm into photography i think this phone rocks
some photos are even up 1MB size!!
Some good things
1.Scientific calculator
2.Transition effects that ca be switched on or off
3.Awesome camera clarity
Some not too good things
1.Can't use flash in night mode ad vice versa
2.speaker at the bottom which makes the phone completely unheard during a incoming call
3.battery life not too great
4.Can't decrease the brightness or turn off wallpaper
Well this is what I've seen so far.But it's still worth more than Nseries Among Nokia phones

can anyone tell me plz whn nokia 3600 rings...the sounds increase slowly or nt.......coz i purshased this set on oct 26,2008 and its been few days only,2day is Nov,08,2008...and smtimes wn am on call,call gets dscnctd...although it has happened only 2-3 times bt still....and secondly d ringtone wch i selected on d day i purchased....suddenly 3 days bk...cel got swtch off.....wn i selected it agn..it ws nt selecting it n cell was getting swtch off agn n agn...then i selected sm other tone...n then aftr smtime aftr opening it frm battery cover..i did selected d same tone.......am scared whether i have wasted my money or what...n plz tel me as our vendor frm where i purchased my cell......is saying dat dnt worry.....i wil get d software updated....my question is why its required in new cell???? if any1 frm the company is going to read this,pls try to help ur customers.....or pls mail on tshalu12@sify.com for any guidance....

Hi guys, nokia 3600 slide makes a great phone, but it has its negative sides too. You can notice that the there are scratches caused by the slider on the bottom number keys after some use. Although camera photo quality is not good enough, the video quality of a video recorded by the vga video recording it supports is a way above what other phones above. In India, it is available for around Rs.9200. I own the phone and opine that overall, it is a great phone for a moderate price.

Could anyone tell me if the meniu operates quickly? Because I am using Nokia 5310 and it takes a second for the meniu screen to appear after i press the meniu button. In comparison Nokia 5300 reacted immediately. And one more question? How does the slide feel? Is it very close to the base and you can feel it scratching or is it moving without touching the sides (like Nokia 5300)?
