sorry this is insane ..like ?? below i have had 5140 5500 all of them and have been waiting for an upgrade on the 5500 for a LONG time now .. and yet while this has certain improvements to stay with a 2mp camera is insane .. the C702 is better than this .. nokia what are you doing!! all this time and now i have to get the sony .. do not people understand? IF you work outside you want 1) rain proof 2) rubber/drop proof 3) a decent phoning capability 4) a decent camera ( as otherwise you are carrying one too 5) internet connection .. everything else games/ music etc is fluff .. please is it THAT hard to put a decent camera in a rubber phone??????

are you high? have you even compared these phones? it has almost dubble the battery life, 2,5 plugg, microusb, a2dp and the list goes on, this is a cheep phone that nokia is releasing, you whant the best go with nokia n97 or n86 8mpix. this is a realy good cheep phone

Why does this only have a 2 megapixel camera and useless QCIF video? What the hell is going on Nokia?
Might as well keep my 5500 because as far as I can see it is actually BETTER on paper than this new rubbish phone.
I have been waiting years for a decent outdoor phone which takes good pictures and videos, and has the same features as the older 5140 (I.e thermometer, compass etc)
This phone will not sell because without a decent camera there is no reason to buy it above the 5140, 5140i, 5500 or even the 5210.
Very disappointed :(

is this fon abit like my old sport 55oo, had alot od probelms with the keys falling off, does anyone know if this keypad is rubber or plastic.

GT3, 10 Jul 2009compete with SE C702 but C702 is far more better than this ... moreI agree,, C702 was far more better in features,, Nokia,, do youre engeneers have a mind of their own?? youre just great in imitating other brands features,, not to mention desighn,,

dust water and shock resistant + 2G for better battery performance..and cheap!

I didn't know that this phone is dust and splash resistant. The look is justified.

They should rename this phone as the 5 series sports phone just like the Nokia 5500 sport phone. The phone should also include features like sports tracker, digital compass, built in FM antenna for listening to radio without the need of connecting headset to the phone for convenience and at least using a 3G technology for connectivity to improvise the phone.

For a long talk, does Nokia 3720 classic get heated up on battery and hardwear? I tired Philips for a long talk, no feeling of heat on Phone surface.
Does it say anything for a voice clarity on specification of 3720 classic like 6700?
