Castro, 23 Dec 2019haven't experienced d pattern bug after pie update, but the... morei know the problem. Easy fix... double tap the powerbutton when youre sure the screen is off. You'll see the screen go on for a short duration as its opening the camera. quickly drag down the notificationbar and slide to the right.
It always takes me 3 or 4 tries but i always get it to show my screen again. This is indeed a bug and if you dont now this trick youre not able to use your phone anymore. I was lucky i kept fiddling long enough with my phone to figure this out and didnt need te reset my phone. So in short: Screen off? (yes) double tap on/off button to start camera. Phone will now react to sliding down notification bar and you'll have to slide to the right by guessing where the brightness-bar is.
You should now see your apps again. If not repeat.

Good phone! I upgrade from Nokia 3 to 3.1 and the performance difference is vast. After updating the 3.1 to pie I got hit with the famous wrong pattern bug. Luckily I unlocked it using FR did some manual backup then finally did a factory reset. Now there's nothing stopping Nokia 3.1. Blazing fast for day to day usage no lag. I recommend this device to anyone on a tight budget but also want a good android experience

The better spec'd phone I was using died. Got a 3.1 as an interim phone. Good price. It has performed very well. I would recommend it. For a supposedly low spec phone it handles all my data and processing needs. using MS Office apps as well as Google apps. Fast. Effective.

The phone memory is a big upset. You are not allowed to easily switch between internal and external memory to store files and applications. The android software seems more complicated that Samsung. Editing contacts for example is cumbersome. Suggesting a feedback also seems missing from settings.... This will most likely be my "only" Nokia android.

I'm using this phone for about 4 months now. One of the great phones I used for this price range. Performance is great and it never let down me on anything. Nokia thank you very much for this phone. Great value for money.

I have this phone for quite some time, at first I had trouble with the draining battery but managed to turn on the battery saver. Now it's performing well... of all things, the only thing bad about it is the battery but power banks exist already, so I'm good. This is a very decent phone. and to think it has NFC!!! Cool.... Display is also good. I'd give it a 4 stars with battery as the only problem.

I could say no words about his phone. Phone got dropped in water almost half bucket high when there was no power I switched the flash light on and kept it on a soup box. Unfortunately that slipped and happened to drop in the bucket, I thought that's gone but still I could see the flash light is on in the water bucket and phone is working absolutely fine, speaker got damaged a lill bit but when I charged next day speaker is also working fine. I could say Nokia is Nokia forever. Thanks Nokia
