Raj, 14 Mar 2019What's the purpose of this app ?It allows you to run Advanced Setup from Engineering Mode Menu of Mediatek phones... Like selecting network, checking different network bands on the phone. You can use it to set your phone on 4G only, so it won't have to fluctuate to 3G at all. The phone naturally don't have that setting

I am getting a 81 MB update today after which 5 new apps in my phone -
Google Keep notes, Google Play Movies, Google play music, Google Duo, Google Calculator
I uninstalled them soon after the update

Hi Guys, Please I've been using MTK Engineering Mode App on my phone and it's been working fine. But yesterday i tried to use it and it's been showing me this, "Cannot find EngineerMode App - Mediatek chipset is mandatory and stock ROM must be installed"... Please what does it mean? Anyone had similar issue? And how do I fix it?

I have the phone and should to tell you , it's wonderful in its price class. but just go for 32GB with 3 GB RAM and forget the 16GB version.
both SIMCARDs could be set LTE at the same time. My handy supports 2 SIMCARDs and a memory stick same time i.e it has 3 slots. Fingerprint sensor and NFC. totally valuable against what I paid.

Update to pie if you haven't and see if it helps.
If you have already done that then hard reset the phone.
If it still doesn't help then the device has a faulty battery. Go to a service centre or the place from where you bought and get it replaced.

For my country India the September, October, November, December & January patch came together in January.
The February patch came in February along with Pie

I just bought my fone but the battery is not lasting even if l spent the whole day not using it after fully charging it to my surprise I will see it at 80%. How do l go about disenabling some of the apps to avoid battery drainage
