Personally this is the best cheap phone in the market as of now the camera is waay better than i expected that is if you know how to use it ,no lag in opening of apps and the battery is just outstanding with a full day battery charge which does not overheat. I can play PUBG with a whole lot better experience than my previous phone i would give it a 4.5 star

So they take away.
I just opened the camera app and automatically switched to find "pro" mode to set ISO and shutter speed, perhaps stop down aperture. Nope, it is not there. It was on the 4.2.
But certainly just a software update away that I hope Nokia do and have a look at how Fujifilm do things.

First impressions are really good, it's well made with a metal frame and that old school Nokia feel to the plastic. Screen looks good, got everything set up easily, it's too big for a phone though. I think an iPhone 4s size but the whole thing is screen would be ideal, others may disagree but in terms of ergonomics it was great.
In terms of actual use I will report back. But I'm quite happy to be on another new Nokia from the previous 4.2. A reason I got this instead of the 5.4 or the G20 is because it has a gyroscope unlike the G series which the 4.2 also lacked and was the only thing I was disappointed with in that phone. The 5.4 is also not very good looking in terms of product design, the 3.4 is better.
The new ones look good, but at the price point I was looking at, the newer G series stupidly removed the gyroscope. I'm looking forward to the apps that benefit from one.

Bokyme, 28 Aug 2021You are a liar! Nokia 3.4 is really a great phone.Wow LOL, Let's put the libelous accusation of calling me a liar without any proof aside and potentially breaching the posting rules of this site by antagonizing me. It's great that you have such a passion for the Nokia 3.4 and are very defensive of it judging by other posts under this article. My comment is of my own experience of the device and it has not been a great one and based on that, I will not buy another device from this brand again which I have every right to do. I do however have the Nokia 2.2, and I had a far greater experience with that and actually recommended it.

With data saver turned on, and only using text messages, usual calls & messenger, a single full charge last for three days without charging.

This is by far the best budget Nokia phone I have ever owned. Compatible with GCam, Android 11 was almost bugless, Runs fine for social media and multitasking for 64gb/4gb variant, and has no bloatware whatsoever.

I have this phone as a secondary, and it has been causing no end of trouble for me, and it is one of the weirdest phones I have ever used.
- Firstly, a MicroSD card is only seen as portable storage and it isn't integrated into the internal storage. The only way I can put things onto it is by connecting it via USB to my PC as if it were 2008.
- Secondly, the way this phone works with an AUX cable is weird and I have had no other device do this before. For it to work, you have to plug it into the cable first, and then plug the other end into whatever you are trying to connect it to. Otherwise, the phone will not see the cable as connected and play through the speaker. For anything else I have used with an AUX cable, Honor Play, Huawei P10 Lite, Google Nexus 5X, Oppo Reno2, and Microsoft Surface Go 2, these work regardless of if the cable is in the other device first or not.
- Thirdly, the random restarts have always come about whilst using the phone.
- Fourthly, music will randomly stop for no reason, and I have tested this with Spotify, Amazon Music Unlimited, and Tidal.
- Fifthly, the NFC icon is not in the drop-down menu, and had to be sought for via the settings.
On top of all this, Nokia customer service from my personal experience has been terrible to where I gave up, and I will not be buying anything from the company again.
