Storm, 20 Jul 2017Hi, there everyone, I am thinking of opening a contract wit... moreI tell you, this phone has a build quality of a flagship, nothing it has, says cheap, absolutely nothing. As far as i am concerned, is builded better then iphones. Now, i did not use this device too much, i bought it for somebody and had to install set stuff and so on and worked quite good for an android device with low specs, actually let's stay at: for an android device. Because android, in my opinion, ist still a slow dog in front of windows. It just doesn't cut it for me in the long run, windows outruns. But, i do not know your income, but i would never do a contract for a low end or mid rage device. If you want a contract, wait for the bigger fish to come. Or if you have money, buy it like without, it is only 199 euro in mobilcom-debitel stores germany.

Wonder if they skipped the notification LED to bring people to buy their flagship (Samsung-like tactic). I find it hard to believe there could be a technical reason.

Using Nokia 5 for 2 weeks. 2 day battery with Wifi and mobile data (not much talk time)
1 day battery with mobile data and 5/6 calls (5min) a day.
Both cameras are good. But the camera interface should have more controls.

Both Sim support at least 3G or one supports 4G/3G and the second sim supports only 2G? if so it is very irritating to change the sims again and again if required to use the other SIM's data

AnonD-686203, 21 Jul 2017Battery time question: I bought a Nokia 5 and sold my Sa... moreYour Nokia 5 battery is normal. Nokia 5 couldn't last 2 days because it is build on 28nm while the Galaxy A5 2017 was build on 14nm which is power efficient ( means battery will last longer). Thus, Nokia 5 could only last 1 day with minimum of 5 hours screen on time.

AnonD-686203, 21 Jul 2017Battery time question: I bought a Nokia 5 and sold my Sa... moreNo suprise there. Exynos 7880 in the Samsung A5 2017 is based on more power effecient 14nm technology which gives better battery endurance compared to the relativly ineffecient SD430 in Nokia 5 that rely on 28nm technology.

Battery time question:
I bought a Nokia 5 and sold my Samsung Galaxy A5 2017. Both have a 3000 mAh battery, but the specs of the Nokia 5 are a bit lower. I thought the battery of the Nokia would last even longer, but it doesn't. I don't play games. Only the occasional call, some internet and Whatsapp. (Have set screen brightness to the minimum and I don't have the screen on much. No apps using a lot of power in settings -> battery )
100% charge at 9:00 and about 35% charge at 23:00. While the Samsung could last me 2 days. What are your experiences with the battery life? Could my Nokia 5 have a bad battery? Or is this normal?

Hi, there everyone, I am thinking of opening a contract with a Nokia 5. do you think it is worth it? because I currently have a Microsoft Lumia 435, which is alright, but it has way to many limits, compared to Android
