Come to your best senses, people!
So Nokia still names differently a fone from another by just putting a black framed protection for the display and increasing to 860mA the battery, with no use?..?
It all happens after more than an year after releasing 6070?..?!!!
Shame on you Once-dear-Nokia!!!
Providers should pay us to accept such fone when subscribing!.. :(

Hi..Everybody..! I have this NOkia 5070..since last week, as for my observation, the phone gets hot immediately and i'm afraid it might explode, it on my ear. Is it safe or not? And this is very simple phone. It only have a low memory and can't store even a 1 complete song. Even the battery it can't hold a day, when i use the radio..I always charges 3 times a day when i like to listen in a radio coz it becomes empty battery immediately. I don't know what to do with this phone. Anyway, this is a good phone coz it's very simple but it can't satisfy me. Anyway, i don't discouraged people who like this phone. Buy this if you like to have a simple phone, coz it's your choice.

Nokia 5070 supports mp3, but it may not be able to contain even one song(depending on the length). Good enough to support short mp3 ringtone. Unless mp3 song is converted to amr format, it may not accomodate even one song.
Does anyone know what the OS is: Java or Symbian.

u wont get alot of songs of that phone its only 4mb u will get like 1 song or 4 @ 64 bit rate

N5070 is a good phone. a phone means a device you can use to, basically contact people. why judge nokia for creating a simple, low memory phone?? after all, not all people are fond of high end phone. bad comments on memory. then you better buy a digital camera or iPod instead. at least you've met your expectations. nothing fancy about the phone, as long as people can communicate with you, we'll still go back to the basic.. A GOOD PHONE! :D

The data cable for the Nokia 5070 is the Nokia CA-42.
It enables easy transfer and synchronisation of different data types - for example calendar, phonebook, notes, to-do list - depending on Nokia PC suite verson.

here's what i think.. i got this fone for FREE when i bought a phone line plan for my SE. i tried using it for a bit and it was quite good. its for those who just want something that makes a call and sends a text... if only this thing had bluetooth, then id actually use this long term; but it sadly doesnt so... back to my SE (Z610i)

Can anyone let me know whether we get a data cable along with this or we have to buy it separately. And which software cd should I buy to use the data cable.I already bought the handset but I did't get datacable or the CD or it. I bought it from NOKIA PRIORITY only.

No help has been provided by nokia for using my mobile as a modem by a data cable, i have tried using dku2, dku50, ca70 cables.
internet on pc can only be used by infrared.
no connectivity of internet is available by usb cable, no driver support for Nokia 5070 usb modem..

this is a simple yet great phone. i bought it last week and it is handy. However i noticed that it does not support Group Messaging (the one-click send to all). Is it really not a feature of this phone?

I am planning to buy this one... i have DKU-5 cable... is it compatible with DKU-5 data cable or works only with CA-42 cable?

It has EDGE support... can i use this as a modem to connect my pc to internet? Is this available?
