This problem occurs in some of the defective firmwares of this phone.
Ok let me come to the point.
Whenever you apply a new theme, then the phone
automatically copies the theme to phone memory and due to which the phone memory decreases. And those applied themes remain hidden in the phone memory
Solution: Download oxycube software. its a phone manager which can detect the hidden files in the phone and then you can delete those hidden themes present in the phone.
Or else easiest way is go to nokia care, and they will flash the phone.

All you need is a working gprs connection in the phone.
Then goto menu>settings>phone>phone update>download.
It will take 10-20 minutes. And in this procedure the phone in get restart automatically. But don't worry it normal.
Note: Don't take out the battery or try to switch of in this process.
Check battery strength before updating it must be minimum 2 points of usual 4 points in the battery bar.
Then your phone will be updated to the latest firmware available.
Its damm simple. Enjoy

i bought this phone 2 days ago as my secondary (for other network and for mp3 usage on the road). my primary phone is samsung wave.
this phone is awsome for purpose i bought it, only bad is that music player respond slow, i mean very slow compared with samsung wave. i have 188 songs (2gb) and i'm waitin 2 secs between 2 songs when one songs ends and another is starting.
current version of software is 7.91 and ovi suite says that this is latest version. i read here about 7,97 version, how to update that?

Aditya_soni, 27 Oct 2010If anyone having any prob. using this phone... feel free t... moreHi,ive been dis phone for a year my brother came with some themes and kept them to my comp i went and transfered them to my 5130 then i applied one theme it sayed that theme corrupted it afected my phones mem from that day it cant update music from the mem card when i go to music player it says update cancelled 1.2mb needed delete some items and yet the phones mem is free and other thing is dat its pone mem reads 40kb i dont know where the rest of the mem went from i dont understand why it says delete some items and i cant see anything to delete please help me with good instruction becos i dont want to take it to the nokia care before i know what is the problem
