Hey guys, I see that lot of u ppl wants to upgrade ur phns firmware.
Ppl who are having firmware 6.xx do not upgrade ur phn through nokia software updater or from nokia care centers. You wil get ur phn updated to firmware 7.xx. And trust us when we say that it sucks like hell.
Even if u face any software problems...flash ur phn yourself or ask a friend to do it for you. Always flash with the firmware version currently present in ur phn or use 6.94. Never flash ur phn with a firmware that is older than ur present firmware.
As for those with 7.xx, u r free to do whatever u want.

Especially if you have more than 2gb songs, it becomes very hard to scroll all the way down to get to a particular song. But after my firmware update to 7.xx i just stopped using the media player. I use TTPOD. It has every thing. You can edit song names, download lyrics and album arts...etc. It also looks very good. And it also has the thing you want. Any doubts? Ask here.

i have a question to those who have this fone already: on its Music player, can i search tracks by gradually typing the title of the song? it's a really very important factor for me because i have 900+ songs in my playlist and i wouldn't want to press the down button for a long time, just to listen to a random song, say, "Waiting On The World to Change". I just have to type in W A I T so that it will directly go to that song.

The sound quality is so excellent. I have professional DJ headphones and the 3.5mm jack handles the full range of the frequency perfectly.
For the price I cannot recommend anything better!

I dig this little phone. For years I hated nokia for implementing stupid useless features (I can write pages on their pathetic wakeup alarm implementations on other nokia phones). However, this time nokia just got it 100% right. Pop in a 16GB microSD card and you have 1 awesome cheap music player.
The sound quality is excellent. I have professional DJ headphones and the 3.5mm jack handles the full range of the frequency perfectly.
For the price I cannot recommend anything better!

SP, 16 Jul 2010I am facing the same problem. I had given my 5130 to Nokia ... moreThe problem you are facing is being faced by a lot of people. It so happens is that all phones have a specific version of firmware for specific country with the correct language pack. But the latest firmware released by nokia for this phone doesn't have all colour variants for all regions. So in order to keep the phone's language intact, the nokia care personals have no choice but to install the red coloured ones. Red is the default colour of xpressmusic so it is present more than the colour blue. So just forget about the inbuilt themes and start downloading other themes. They will look much better than the blue ones. My set is also blue. After giving for repair, the same thing happened to me too. So i just started to repair my phone by myself, using phoenix and selecting the desired theme and language i need.

GT, 11 Mar 2010ohh...forget to mention that, mine is BLUE one & after ... moreI am facing the same problem. I had given my 5130 to Nokia Care for repair. When I got it back yesterday, I found the colours all messed up. The current theme looks like the one made for Red phones... My earlier theme was Blue, and very pleasing to the eyes. But now I dont find any theme suitable for Blue handsets. Yes, the Red theme really hurts my eyes !!!

the only thing missing is camera flash in it
