It is very very good phone better then 5130exm .5130exm sound is very loud but quality is very bad. 2700c or 5130exm headphone sound is same, but 2700c is best.2700c price is 4100 and 5130exm price is 4600. 5130 like china mobile. I m not too good 5130exm. I have this phone. Phone soft is very slow like bal_gari speed.

Its very annoying.

40 games and softwares...huh and i knw it took a long time to convert it to jad using jad maker and then transfer it to phn.
i once had 200 games along...got bored so now have just 54. software around 30. u jst have to copy to phn....no install process required

Theme creator is better in nokia man...u shd be knwing it since you claim to have used 6300.
Everything the samsung theme creator can do nokia themes creator can do better and its got hundreds of of other customizations than what u said. ohh and its not a 3rd party theme creator. Its made by nokia.

bluetooth files transfer speed in 5130 is around 160KBps mark. you can send any number of files of any sizes.

550 sms...big deal, 5130 can store nearly 30000.
Most of the other features and available in 5130 with the exception of mobile tracker, fake call.

AND ALSO STOP READING BETWEEN THE LINES.

I never said S3500 was a crappy phn. It does have the best screen and camcoder in this price range....not the best 2mp cam. there are plenty of other 2MPs that can do much better.

again u mistaken my friend samsung got fabulous theme creator where u can create ur typo themes using ur pic ur colours ur transition effect everythin can be customizable... its a dream come true for those who love customization...(much better than 3rd party theme creator)
u can create beautiful themes out of urs or ur girlfriends pics
u can change colour mood, main menu icon, focused main menu icons, list fonts, focus effect, focus, focussed fonts, title fonts, soft key fonts, line etc according to ur choice n ur will or u can try em all in a go rather than choosing any preset suggestions.... there is hell lot of customization stuff in there.

who need flash when we have gif animated wallpapers, JAVA GAMES n hell lot of java applications...

bro i have told u earlier BELEIVE UR EARS RATHER THAN UR EYES(reviews) when it comes to sound quality... for this first u hav to listen it... i hav both thats why i knw both are great
man really its been a long time... go out n listen to others dont sit over a review bro

lol again a fake comment bluetooth speed is much better than many nokia phones i tested, by the way that gm200 guy write it thats why u may thinkin man... he himself doesnt have this phone may b u dont know but bluetooth is one of the best feature of s3500
its bluetooth sharing is really very fast, u can send multiple files at same time @ great speed i myself sent more than 20-25(each around 5mb) songs in a go. u can send as many file as u can at the same time.
secondly another great thing bout s3500 is unlike nokia all ur files will be directly saved in their corresponding folder that means songs in music folder... pics in images folders, softwares in other file folders automatically u dont have to transfer them to their folders... moreover u can directly save ur files to ur mem card through bluetooth....
n thirdly "when you connect through Bluetooth to any other device you can take a control of that phone as all files and folders of other connected phone are displayed on S3500. You can take whichever files you want without bothering other person."
u can actually saw all those files saved on other phones mem and card in ur s3500 n u can take watever file u want.

n now come back to cam....
again how can u write this when u never use its cam...man in terms of cam s3500 is way ahead than 5130 not only its camcorder, cam is the best @2mp

+ NIGHT MODE

now take a look at this:
at Rs. 5300 u'll get:

2.2 inch screen + 1 crore 60 lakh colours(16M) + 320*240 video recording resolution + excellent 2mp camera(the best in the class) + QVGA video recording + awesome music player(loud n crystal clear) + premuim brushed mettalic body

u cant find these fetures in any other phone at its price or even if u pay rs2000 or 2500 more....(check urself)

other great features of s3500 are:

Multiple Alarm: There are five alarm slots available on the Samsung S3500 and additional ones can be created if needed. Each of them can have its own snooze time, number of repetitions and activation days. The volume can also be different for each alarm. Furthermore, you can set different tones for each of the alarms and you can choose whether it should trigger phone vibration.

Calendars - Calendar Function is awesome in this phone. It have all Indian Holidays marked. If there is a public holiday (date) it will show a icon below and when u click button, it will show you which holiday it is.

"theme creator"
through theme creator u can create n customize ur own theme according to ur choice of colours n ur choice of pics... its really a awesome feature for those who loves customization.... (to knw more bout it pls read earlier comments)

PRIVACY LOCK: Locking function is also very good where you can lock ur Messages, call log, phonebook, ur files (pics, videos, games etc), calender, memo, task etc...watever u want. really a unique function...

BLOCK Calls n Sms's: u can block calls as well as sms.

when u connect other phones through bluetooth it ask for a passcode....it really enhance ur phone secutity bcoz of this ur phone can not be hack through any hacking tool.

another awesome feature is when you connect through Bluetooth to any other device you can take a control of that phone as all files and folders of other connected phone are displayed on S3500. You can take whichever files you want without bothering other person.

"Fm recording" n the best part is the audio quality of recorded clip is shockingly loud n crystal clear n can save unlimited no. of stations.

"call recording"
crystal clear call recording n the other person on call will not hear any annoying beep.

"Fake Call function" this feature enables you to activate a bogus incoming call, so you can free yourself from awkward conversations or dodgy situations by pretending to take a call. For added authenticity, you can record your own or ur friends fake voice "call" that plays back when you answer.

"Menu transition effect"
if u seen latest aamir khan's samsung ad then u wud probably knw wat i m talking bout...wenever u press a button the screen slides from right to left....it looka awesome...u can also change ur transition effect.

"MOBILE TRACKER 2.0"
Mobile tracker automatically sends an SMS message to a pre-designated number alerting you when your phone’s SIM card is changed, increasing your chances of recovering a lost or stolen mobile phone.

"SOS FUNCTION"
in an emergency jus press either end of the volume key 4 times when the phone is closed. this will send the SOS message to ur selected recipients. if they call u back their call will be automatically connected. its definately a life saving feature.

"Message alert repetition": it will alert u in evry 2 min if there is an unread mes on ur phone....u can put it off too.

"keypad lights" automatically set according to day night usage or according to ur custom usage dont have to on or off it manually.

have all the features which only a music phone possess....n music player is shockingly loud n clear.

"Random Wallpaper Effect"
very intresting feature...wenever u use ur mobile n came back to standby....it will welcome u with diffrent wallpapers of ur choice each time.(to know more read earlier reviews)

"BLUETOOTH MESSAGING"
(chat/sms through bluetooth FREE OF COST)
1st of all its free secondly its in chat form u can see the history n third u dont have to wait for send or receive as it does chatting instantly....

"smart dialling"

"SMS ZOOM Function"

cam cover: cam is not at the back of fone....it is inbetween the slide so slide act as a cam cover...protect lens from scratches, dust n all.

can change DEFAULT MEMORY setting: u can change default memory settings of bluetooth, wap downloads, camera, camcorder, voice recorder, fm radio etc from phone mem to memory card.
for ex: now when u transfer any file through bluetooth or click a pic, or record a radio clip they'll b directly stored in ur mem card.

Awesome file management:
The functionality of the file browser is one of the best among non-smartphones. You can copy or move files - both one by one or in bulk, and you can create and delete new folders (save for the basic ones). Files can also be sent via Bluetooth one by one or multiple at once. Throughout the whole file manager, you can pick files you would like to lock to prevent accidental deletion. The whole file navigation thingy is really quick with no lags whatsoever.

apart from these there are a lot more features like "AUTO REPLY" , "night mode"....the list is endless.....we r still exploring.....

s3500 is a "ALLROUNDER" phone

5130 is the worst phone i had ever used.....

samsung GURU phones are far better than this in all respect i.e sound and Battery..

BATTERY BACK UP of 5130 is very bad.......

This is a cool phone. When you play the songs with music lights it's like so beautifull. You can play the songs continieu atleast 12 hours(proved by myself) at the flight mode. This is a amazing feature of nokia 5130. Friends if you are looking for a good sound quality's phone and your budget is 5000 to 5500 then that is "NOKIA 5130" only.........EAST OR WEST ÑØKÎ ALWAYS BEST.

themes suck when compared to NOKIA and SE

no flash support

audio quality no where near 5130(though headset is better)

camera is good...only in the video department. Still pics are just average. NO where near best 2mp cam phns like u think. You can compare pics taken with s3500 with that of 5130 or 5220 given in the gsmarena reviews.

bluetooth speed is pathetic.

GPRS/EDGE is slower than nokia's.

THe only thing s3500 have over 5130 is larger screen and better video cam.
In every other department 5130 rocks....s3500 cannot even dream to compete.

i bought tis model today but in my user manual it is stated that support upto 2 gb only but here it is stated as 16 gb

its a good 1.

except its video quality and headset.
i recommend to buy a good headset and stay calm with the video quality. what else can be expected at its price?

I can bet it is better than any other phone in its price range,even much better than 5130. It has 16million colour disply, very nice 2.2inch screen, metallic frame,awsome 2mp camera(better than any 2mp phone). Since it has 16m colour screen clarity and screen resolution is great. It takes vedio at 320*240 pixels. And lastly it costs only Rs5230. I'd suggest not to buy 5130. Really s3500 is good phone with great looks. Remember after having a look at s3500 every 5130 user will feel that 'why he/she bought nokia 5130. S3500 rocks....
