i have this fone for about 2 months now, battery back-up only last me 2 days or less with texting only, it has hanged on me more than 4 times already and lost all my inbox, sent and saved messages... also at 1 time, it completely deleted my phonebook eventhough i saved it in my simcard... i think my phone just needs an update...time to visit my nokia dealer! ~_~ overall its a solid, cheap, good-looking phone! :)

this is probably the best fone ive ever had love evrything bout it but the usb cable is 2 small so itz kind of useless u knw...

I'm getting my phone today or tuesday and i can't wait...it is a better phone than my other three and the first nusic phone I'm ever gonna have...CAN'T WAIT....

eks, 03 Sep 2009nope.. i'm not from india... i'm from south east asia :) ..... moreThen check out Nokia 2700 classic...has same specs as 5130XM.
The only difference is that it doesn't have dedicated audio chip and music keys like 5130XM but still comes with 3.5mm audio jack. Its cheaper than 5130. Probably would cost 4800 in ur currency, considering that 5130 used to cost 5300 before price hike.

its a very nice product of nokia .....sound quality of this phone is too good but there is one problem that its power time when i continue listen music its give only 4 to 6 hour backup...........overall this phone is not bad if u think to buy this phone then dont waist ur time just buy it and enjoy its features.!!!!!!!!!

nope.. i'm not from india... i'm from south east asia :) ... there's no tax increase here... it's just the demand that has increased because it has a low price compared to other phones... Nokia Stores?? it costs at around 7000... really big price difference... i think i will just buy Samsung E251.. just 3900.. sliding and cheap.. but of course it can't beat the specs of N5130

eks, 02 Sep 2009damn.. when i was about to buy this phone... the price went... morebro are you from India? from maharastra or Madhya Pradesh? Then i think the price rise is due to the state government increasing tax from 4% to 12.5%. 5130 is still priced around 5400 including tax in rest of India. And BTW there is no reason for blue or any colour to cost more than other colors. Buy your phn frm nokia priority stores or other reputed mobile stores.

damn.. when i was about to buy this phone... the price went up from 5,300 to 6,000... :( damn... with that price i could buy phones with greater specs... but i don't have d budget :( :( and also the silver one is out of stock... how sad... and what makes me more sad... the blue one's price is greater than the red one... :(

I have purchased Nokia 5130 recently. The Mobile piece is very good, but when it is recharged fully, back up battery is poor. The battery will come down within 8 hours, besides that it is very good performance.
