This phone is really nice but backup is poor ihave purchased the same mobile twice earlier mobile had backup probs secondly purchased have much back comparing 2 first one d software is upgraded from 5.80 to 6.93 now d mobile is faster than before ihave bought silver is nice than d blue i have purchased before video rec is poor camera is good sound is nice both earphones and d speakers so recommed u 2 buy this now and enjoy d new version

sir,in nokia 5130 ,i have problem in sms timings as,whem somebode send me msg at 04:05 pm it seems at 10:120am.so plz suggest me how can i active my correct time schedule for getting exact time duration of my messages

2)Reason for videos getting stuck is coz you are probably using settings that are used for smartphones.
3)Most video codecs do work as long as the container file is 3gp or mp4.
4)Best format according to me....mp4
video codec: xvid
bitrate: 300kbps
audio codec: aac
bitrate: 128kbps
FPS: 15
Resolution: 320X240

hey everyone please please please can u answer my question?...ummm does the nokia 5130 have any restarting issues....will it restart if supposing the music is playing in the background then all of a sudden i switch to videos in the music player?.....please please please im gonna buy it soon....

Can any1 tell which format video should be loaded in this mobile to make it work smoothly??
I've loaded many videos(3gpp & Mp4) among them only few r working smoothly n d others seems to hang while playing.. But those videos work smoothly on computer so there's no problem with those videos but it lies with d Mobile..
3gpp has many formats like:-
*MPEG-4 AMR_NB (.3GP)
*MPEG-4 AAC (.3GP)
*H.263AMR_NB (.3GP)
*H.263AAC(.3GP)
*ETC....
Moreover, in all these formats we can also set d aspect ratios through a descent video converting software to suit our convenience..
I'm confused.. So can any1 tell exactly which format video will work smoothly in NOKIA5130 so that i can convert it & load it in My Mobile to enjoy????
If possible, Plz also do specify d Resolution aspect, Framerate, video codec...

I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH ITS BATTERY, IT EASILY GET LOW BAT!!!!!!!i like the music//the camera i will rate 6.5 out of 10/and the video 4 out of 10..hate it!

tis is really a good phone..the sound quality is great..the camera 2mp is not bad..everything is cool..reasonable price..jz tat the headset that came along with the package is not that desired..after all,tis phone is stil a good wan..i love it!
