hello everybody i m going to review what i found after using this phone. as it is a music phone it doesn't provide satisfactory sound quality. treble is too high which cannot be adjusted. eventhough it is providing equliser. somewhat it affect but not upto the mark. i don't know y all of u r saying it has a best music quality. i found sony erricsson is the best in sound quality. no one can compete wid sony.

yeah sound quality does increase a lot using EP-630.
I suggest you to go for phiips shh9700...they are much better than ep-630 and has better sound stage and balanced sound. They may be a bit costly than ep-630s but worth every paise you pay.
currently 5130 has one of the best audio quality on a mobile phone along with W995 and iphone 3GS. Its better than all other walkmans and motorokr.
FM sound is low...they didnt make it as an fm phone i guess...fm reception quality varies with the earphone you are using.
It will last 2 days with average use with music, calls, games and sms...if use it only for minimal calls you may get 3 days.
Firmware is very good...it came with a faluty firmware with most phns having hangs and restarts....but after firmware updates almost no one is facing hang or restarts...newer phns come with latest firmware installed.

Anonymous, 01 Jan 19705130 has better music quality and battery backup than s3310....cam quality is somewhat same.

Hello people. I have been looking for a good music phone for a week now. Would like to buy one shortly. I came across this nokia 5130.
Can someone who is presently using this phone tell me how is the sound quality with the ear phones provided by nokia. Does it improve upon using creative? In both cases, how is it compared to walkman and motorokr?
I have heard that the FM quality is not good. THe sound is not loud. Please can anyone confirm this because in most phones FM is louder than the music player.
Moreover how is the battery backup. DOes the 1020 mAh battery do justice, i mean, last up to 3 days with minimal calls? And lastly, how is the firmware compared to other phones of the same range..

but 5130 has class 32 GPRS/EDGE...which is theoretically faster than class 10 provided 2700.

I love it very much.those who prefer 2700c should know that-though the specification r same "if there is a difference between price,there will be a difference between system".

I had purchased the 5130 xpressmusic on april 09. The phone provide me with excellent features and sound quality nevertheless i would like to comment the handsfree provided by the handset did prove to satisfactory i.e in term of conversation and listening songs,though it has a 3.5mm jack but i can be relaible to another competitor to nokia so please do suggest which would compatible for the handset?

I want to close the mouths of all those people who are saying that sound and camera are not good.i have used this mobile sound is extremely good,camera is much better,this mobile is better than 6300,and the people who want to buy this mobile don't wait just go and you will not be sorry.
