I have a question...
Well, I bought this phone last week. I liked all features except battery backup... Also the headset I got for free is very bad. So I bought new Creative earphones (white colour). When I listen Heavy Metal songs... It sounds so treble. (My Sony Erricson w200i used to sound very clear on earphone). So I want good equalizer settings to remove treble while listening on earphones... (I usually don't play songs on speaker). Can anyone suggest me please HOW should I keep 5 bars in equlizers to REMOVE TREBLE?

Considering that 5130 comes 1gb card, data cable and all the extra features of an xpressmusic phone like dedicated music keys and DSP chip, 5130 has a much better value for money than 2700c. Now top that.

Anonymous, 24 Jul 2009There is a difference...how come ppl are so stup*d that the... morei think u hv just seen the specs. of nokia 2700 classic u forgot that the price of 1 gb mem. card and data cable is negligible. nokia 5130 is around 1300 rs more costlier, if u buy a mem. card and data cable it will not cost u more than 300 rs. u save 1000rs straightly. and who told u about the bose audio dsp chip inside i hvn't seen this information anywhere even i read its manual also. the last thing i forgot to mention that the cost of production is going down. nokia 5130 xm is the example as u compare it wid nokia 2700 see both r same and the price has ahuge diffrence.later on i will post u about the sound quality of 2700c.

Anonymous, 23 Jul 2009ok that u compared it wid nokia 3110c .lets compare it wid ... moreThere is a difference...how come ppl are so stup*d that they merely look at the spec sheet and comment. 2700c is an excellent phone for its price...probably the best value for money phn nokia has released for a while. Same features as 5130XM.
But the important factor which sets 5130XM apart and a bit more costly is the addition of BOSE audio DSP chip and the dedicated media keys...and hence there is a huge difference in audio quality. If you dont want the best sounding audio, then dont buy....most ppl who look for music phns want excellent audio quality. Dedicated music phns will cost more than ordinary ones with same specs.
Ohh and I almost forgot to mention 5130XM comes with data cable and 1 gb memory card...2700 dont come these.

Just got this Phone from Sun Cellular last week and I must say--with its very affordable price, it's a superb product for a simple XpressMusic phone. Nearly purchased its more pricey, yet slimmer counterpart Nokia 5310 but looking at the specs, other than its size, there's basically no difference at all. Sound quality is great (tho I was eyeing for visualizations, but not significant to disappoint me :D). Has an okay cam that doesn't come with a flash but if you're not looking for a phone with a good quality cam, then this phone is definitely for you. Delish!
