rabia, 28 Jun 2009i also heard alot about ds cell nd 2day i bot it..v.stylish... moreYou are lucky, I bought it for 10,000 PKRS.. yeah the headsets are of low quality.. go for a better quality headset.. like the one of Iphone's or Black Berry's, will cost you a bit but worth your money!

if you want to experience the amazing music player of this phone then don't use the headset that nokia provided. buy a more expensive and better headset. i use my father's blackberry headset on my nokia 5130 xpressmusic and the sound is just amazing. the nokia 5130 is really an amazing music device and it really is a steal for its price.

hi friends.... I got 5130 3 days back, the battery is lasting just for 14 hrs, I'm not listening to more than 3 songs nor speaking over phone for more than half an hour. Has any one faced this problem or should i ask for battery replacement??

please someone tell what will be the battery talktime of the phone under following conditions;-
1)no use of music player at all.
2)per day 10-15 minutes of talking.
3)other use - alarm,dictionery,reminder etc.
please respond as early as possible.

I think you are talking about Standby Time and not talk time. You can not talk for 28 hours on any currently available phone,unless your charger is connected!!
Standby time is, when you do not make any usage of phone (not even receiving a message, no locking/unlocking, no movement from one place to another is powered on condition). Phones consume power even when it is off. Standby time of 288h means, if you keep your phone off, then with out recharging, you can still power on the phone after 280+ hours; If the phone is on, then even if you are not using it, it will be communicating with base station to know the status of connection and also to track whether you have moved into a different area (cell).

Talk time Up to 6 h
Music play Up to 21 h

can somebody tell me how 5130 has 288 hours of talking time.. for me it just lasts for 48 hours and thats it..is there any power saving mode that i need to enable.
