hello friends today i have purchased Nokia 5130 XpressMusic . Really the look Buttons, Body and touch feeling very cool and fine also the light and speaker and features good . Sound and Connectivity with USB Cable is very easy no Need CD just use any PC Suite Software and get ready.

solution
not bad luck...all earphns r crap
the option is to buy a good earphn.
thru earphns playback is 14-17 hrs continuous for me.
(depends on whatelse you do while playing music, simple task like changing song whc triggers the screen can hav a major effect).
"Mp4 player (file must be smaller than 10 mb with 15fps)"
well it can definitely play files grater than 300 mb @ 15fps 320X240....video bitrate @ 250 kbps.

It is too small to handle, if ... moreahh...your completely opposite to the way the world thinks...everyone is trying to make things into small dimensions and here u r complaining abt the compactness of this phn and abt some non existent defect(BTW this phn is not that compact if you consider some of the other phns nokia and SE releases)...zees ppl have com up TVs that are 3cm think...
abt menu...well if u r not used to using nokia then it will feel strange...same thing goes for ppl nokia users shifting to others phns.
abt having trouble to get to battery...if u dont knw how to open it then it show u r a noob who is incapable of doing the most simplest jobs...
so stop crying like a child....

Hi, using dis phone from last month, features are good, but problem is some time it got hang and battery back up very disgusting. otherwise according to indian 6000 rs. its cheap and best. can anyone tell which software version i can update to resolve its hang issue.

This phone is complete crap. It is too small to handle, if you don't pay attention you break the bezel when you try to get to the battery. Also, taking out the SIM card is ridiculously complicated. Needless to say, the menu structure is equally bullshit. Finally, exactly after end of warranty, the built-in camera goes on "standby" and can no longer be used. Obviously, Nokia wants us to pay more than we paid originally for the phone to get it repaired. The way they treat their customers is exactly the way they treat their employees.
Summary: Nokia XpressMusic is crap, crap, crap, don't buy it, don't be tempted by its small size: That's its biggest disadvantage. Shell out your money for some decent phones, but don't go with Nokia.

Just update ur software version to 6.65 and all complaints and problems of this phone will be solved:) thats all:) the only cheap thing about this phone is camera which is of poor quality but other than tat just everything is just superb and mind blowing:-) ear phones are a issue but standard 3.5mm jack is given in phone to solve it so use ur favourite head phones and enjoy music bindass tats all guys:-) from looks till performance and price this phone just rocks:-) hats off nokia hats off 5130:-). My rating for this phone is 9 out of 10:-) so everyone can just go and grab this phone:-) current price bangalore 5750 and chennai 5250 and this is my own experience which am sharing with u ppl so tat it may be of some help to buyers or readers thanks:-)

Awesome phone for Ladies.
Nokia 5130 has two problems.
1> some headphone has poor sound quality.
2> hang problem while playing mp3 file.
Solutions:
1> Your Luck.
2> Update your software to 6.65 with microUSB.
Otherwise great features like talk time 3hr 50min (tested with full battery using avarage bsnl network). Music plays up to 11hr.
Good image quality 1600x1200 pixels.
Mp4 player (file must be smaller than 10 mb with 15fps)
