Hi,
I always prefer this kind of low price-range feature rich mobiles over high price groups. This phone is so perfect that I am planning to buy it soon.I found some issues regarding Battery being posted by users but i think it should not be a big problem as the battery is 1020mAh one.But the question is this phone available in the market or not? I heard that this set is out of stock in WB for some time.

This cellphone supports ALL The day in hands of I and my friends
I and they use this

well guys i bought this mobile for about 4 days. its a nice set huge loud speaker big screen easy to use,camera is normal but the problem is that the battery is drained out quickly. i have tried screen saver off light keys turned off but still after 10 or 12 hours it will be drained. i haven't listen too much music two songs per day, send sms avg 50 and call receive max 2. So guys any solution regarding battery backup.

I think,i should have dis phone because its realy pretty good,i wonder why alot of people complain,let me tell u one thing da charge isnt da problem da problem is how u use it,mind u dat da phone has got a lot of stuffs,so i must purchase nokia5130,I REALLY LOVE IT.AM GONNA HAVE IT SOOOOOOON.

I Bought this set just 3 days a ago and now facing lots of problems. Its not playing MP3 format. and it turns of automatically when ever i try to make a call or try to receive a call means SMS is the only solution to communicate. And the problem is its UM's warranty starts from 21st june. Lets see will be going to service centre today. But this set is a mess :(

Why are so people complaining about battery backup?? The phone lasts almost 2 days for one recharge with heavy usage, 4 hrs of music through headphones a day and an average of 100 sms sent and received per day + 30 mins calls + 2 hrs of gaming.
I have personally tested battery backup for music playback and it played for 16 hrs continuously through headphone + 1 hrs of gaming. That is pretty good.
The display is a power consumer, its not the largest display at 2 inch but it has the same number of pixels as that of larger displays at 2.4 or 2.6 inch and the power consumption will be almost as high as the larger displays due to number of pixel. If you play around with your phone a lot then battery will drain fast. All S40 phones with similar display gives same battery backup as 5130.
The loudspeaker is big and loud and using it will result in lower backup. Also having a powerful dedicated DSP chip also takes it toll on battery.
Also do take a look at the backup of N-series. The battery barely last for one day. I have used N73 ME before and had to charge every single day and with 5130XM i only have to charge every 2 days with heavy usage. All those complaining about haven't used any higher or similar models. If you guys are buying this set after using some of Nokia's very low end sets which give a backup of 4-5 days then you will be disappointed with backup of 5130XM.
Also there is a slight increase in backup after firmware update.

i'm very pleased with everything about this phone.his battery is 1020mAh which is pretty good.but you and i must realise that phn has a very-very nice BASS on loudspeaker which is also a very-very draining for battery...so the problem is not so hard isn't it.you just don't use a display every minut and that's it.Just like that i could listen for about 5 hours with only a 50% of losing power.after all it is a music phone not a TV,right?

This is for all the people who really want to buy the phone:
Used this phone for a month, the battery is actually OK, it drained out pretty quickly and worked for 12- 18 hrs for the first week but after that its been working well for a day with 10 hrs of music , 30 mins on loudspeaker, Bluetooth and 3 hrs of talktime.
Update 6.65 gives the flight mode in the profiles section.Music lights dnt light up with the tune of the music. The phone is pretty light, and the loudspeaker is loud as it name goes and clear, I have bought Sennheiser In ear phones and after tweaking the bass in the equaliser the sound is Crisper than any Sony walkman phone or even an Ipod, would recommend the Default music theme for faster operation. With 4gb Microsd no problems, The backup feature is very easy, so no probs on dat side.
The camera is clear in daylight but Useless in nil light condition or even low light. Radio volume is pretty low, and also the headset provided is Made in China and as it goes it works like something made in china. The bluetooth is very fast, V 2.0+ EDR ( Enhanced Data rate) Speeds at 120 - 160 kbps,unlike the sony phones at 40 kbps.Phone operation very fast, almost unlimited messages can be stored.
Phone price is currently INR 5700,
Wait till 2nd week of June and would recommend this as a Super Buy at Rs. 5500 for all crazed music lovers. This is a music phone not a camera phone, plz dont buy this phone if u want evrything perfect.
