HI Guys... i m from mobile store.. this is the worst handsets in nokia i have ever seen in my entire life.....this set sucks man.... yo!!!!

I bought tis phone a week ago.. its looking nice and especialy for music lovers. it can't be used as modem but GPRS is effetive. The panel is looking good but immense care should be taken to preserve it. All the whole its a very nice Phone and cery cheap as well...

hey i want 2 purchase this one for modem nd music purpose. how is the modem? is it gud enough? i hav used nokia 3500c for 9 months as modem. now its gone. i had to take it to the service centr 6-7 times. now, can anyone suggest abt the 5130 as modem? will it perfrm like better?

S60 is not an OS.
It is just an user interface for Symbian OS....
:)
S40 is the interface which nokia uses for its OS in its low-mid range sets.
for symbian OS phones it uses S60 UI.
yes both S40 and S60 are nokia proprietary....

Nokia owns S60. other phone manufactures pay royalty to nokia for the right to use the operating system.

5130it is much better softver than 5310 no matter what they say!!!i've been using 5310 for a 9 months and trust me i know what means to have slllooooooowwlllllllyyy soft.!!5130 doesn't have nokia sensor but it has 256K display ,not 16M like 5310,which is twices better-for speed of the soft.and battery life trust me!nokia 5130 needs about 25-32 sec for"wake up" of its all applications when you turn it on.that same thing lasts for about 1.45-2.10 min with mu ex 5310.sometimes,ex 5310 when its battery is gone he turns it self down but IMAGINE-DISPLAY STAYS ON WITHOUT LIGHT,as long as i put it on a charger...and one more thing-5130camera is working on pictures for about 8 sec.which is impossible on 5310 and his lasts for about 15sec.All this is just a evidence that 5130 is having tripple faster "BRAIN"than 5310 and specifications.BUT,THAT'S ONLY MY EXPIERIENCE,RIGHT??

people say it's backup is less ? Is that so. Many people say that. But i doubt. Because it uses BL-5c, 1020mA battery. So the backup should be good/ v good. What do u say about backup ?

Hi all, I am really confused, there is 50-50 % mix of opinion about the goodness of this phone. Some people say it hangs while plying music and low battey backup whereas some people say they have been using for long time without any problem. I was about to buy but refrained because of this confusing reviews. The alternative is 7210 with same features except 3.5mmaudio jack. Can some one say with confidence that 5130 is absolutly troublefree.
