howz the symbian operating sys??like d 5300 or 7610 supernova??coz d 1 wich 53oo has is bit slow,sluggish and hangs alot..thanx!

I dont know 5130 will better than 5310.. I am using 5310 that have cool design but not performance.. Bcoz in some downloaded game, i couldnt play it.. It say errory, out of memory. My god!! Thats make me dislike 5310

when i saw this model for the first time only one word came out from my mouth, and that was WOW.. But the more i'm using it the more i'm getting dissapoint. Specially when it restarts. It restart like anything. No matter i'm browsing net or playing video it has to restart. Seems like its been programme to restart with every application run.

how s the BATTERY BACKUP TIME of 5130XM?.how long the battery lasts after full charge?how long does it play music after full charge?pls post yr experience on battery backup time of 5130XM...i want to replace my 5300XM with 5130XM :)

Very good. But be soft with it. if you are too fast (faster than mobile) it will be stuck and you wil have to restart it. It's audio quality is marvelous. Just go for it. for it's price there is no second thought required

Hey guys just bought the 5130 and i must say other than a few areas i'm totaly impressed
-great looks
-awesome loudspeaker
-great screen and graphics compatibility(3d games n fast flash anim, unlike 5310)
-average camera
-fast bluetooth n gprs
-did i say great looks?
Though, i must say that it would b a flawless 4ne if it had stuf lyk a better batery n vga video recording... Otherwise am very pleased.

ashifraj, 11 Apr 2009yes u r right... same thing happened to me.. i went to buy ... morethe XpressMusic lineup is mainly targeted at the youth...specially 5220 and 5130...If your not a young guy or you feel too matured then just don't buy it...and stop complaining about its looks

which makes 5130 camera better than 5310

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970compared to 5130 and 5310 I prefer 5310 for its design, camera quality, especially its a good looking phone. very slim. Music is good, but no surroundings.

swandy, 11 Apr 2009hey folks, plz guide me. whether i should prefer 5130XM ove... moreI have been using it since 3rd march that is like almost 40 days and I havnt faced any restart and hanging problems...i use have used themes that are larger than 1.5 MB in size and they work perfectly without any hangs...the camera is significantly faster than that of 5310 and so are the flash animations...
Even played music in background while playing asphalt 2 and 3 and no hangs what so ever..My friends are also using this set and they are not facing any problems.
But, there are other people who face hanging and restarting problems and I'm sure these can be fixed by a couple of firmware updates...
As for me I'm fully satisfied with this set and so are my friends...most people who bought this from my city dont face any restarting problem...
I would recommend you to buy this...maybe you may face restarting issue but it can be fixed with the next firmware update...
BTW its not out of stock in my city...its still selling like hot cakes here...

hey folks, plz guide me. whether i should prefer 5130XM over 5310XM..!
5130 ..sure is ver cheap.. sme thin arnd 6k whereas 5310 is arnd 8k..
but is 5130 reliable..?
5310 seems to be reliable as some of ma frnds are using it.
also, there is no stock of 5130 in the market.. the dealers are citing reasons like bad software..and all.
so , ppl. plz help ma in making the decisions..
also, i rate reliability 1 step over money.

not to buy it. It's pretty much differ from
the picture shown here. The picture here
seems a lot more classy. The real thing, well
you just go and see it for yourself. Despite
the color is too glossy (which make it looks
cheap) the edge is quite rounded (which make it
looks fat) --> (thats two things, cheap n fat).
Well, that's all that matter. But i finally
decide not buying it. B'coz i dont like it's
design :( too bad.... It looks cheaper than it
cost. I like 1680 (black) 's design or 2600 classic
design much better (despite the lack of feature)..
Looks like i have to wait for 6303 (just hope this
one is not a let down as well...)

Advantage
# Excellent music quality by both speaker/headphone
# Average camera.
# Expandable upto 2GB
# Great Looks
# Internet and Bluetooth connectivity is fast.
Concerns
* The screen is not visible in daylight.
* Battery not upto the mark.
* Headphone is of cheap quality.
