But no compromise for the sound quality. Ask anyone(who's neither a nokia fan nor Sony Ericsson fan) whether Nokia's or Sony ericsson's sound quality is better, which one gives more hearing pleasure. Don't judge yourself.

Any 3.5mm headset can be used on any nokia phone with a 3.5mm adapter. Same goes for the 2.5mm port n headset
Furthermore, even the cheapest nokia phones have 2.5mm whose adapters can be bought anywhere in the world from any manufacturer. Nokia has gone even further to make headsets that have both 3.5mm connectors n 2.5mm connectors when purchased. What about SE? Apart frm SE, u cant get a replacement from anywhere else.

But Sony Ericsson's low-end phones also are of high quality. You won't get the sound quality of a walkman phone,with megabass on any Nokia xPRESSmusic phone in the same price range.
Don't say about the ports. It's very useful. A Sony Ericsson headset can be used on any Sony Ericsson phone so as the USB-cable & charger.
But in case of Nokia, One phone-one type port, that's their motto. Each phone has got different ports.
In emergency also we can't use any available charger or something.
Did you ever notice a walkman phone? It has a 3.5mm jack on the headset cable itself.
