maybe they think this is the only one walkman can defeat ?
why don't they go bash 5800XM but bashing a CHEAP LOW-END phone??

just the BRAND name only with the SOFTWARE , NO ANY HARDWARE

SE has already... moreYou're wrong dude, the only Xpressmusic phone with noise cancelling headpohnes was 5700 and 3250, the other XM have normal headphones that were nothing out of the ordinary, try a good pair of headphones (even your walkman headphones) and you'll realize which plays better. The clear bass is a software enhancement, not hardware it tweaks the sound in an unnatural way, if you want a natural sound you can always tweak the equalizer.
Headphones are a very important factor in music playback, that's why Walkmans sound good, but try a poor quality headphones and you'll notice the decrease in sound quality

Walkman Phones have BETTER software and Mu... moreohh so because the Walkman series were the first music minded handsets means that all the competitors music phones are copies??? No way, all of them are good music players and no one is copy of Walkman, Xpress Music phones were evolving, since 5700 all of them include an audio chip and now they are even better in music capabilities than Walkman. Walkman phones evolve in software only, the hardware is still the same as W800, an almost 4 year old phone, that's why SE is fallind down.
But I think the most important downside of Walkmans are the absence of 3.5mm jack without the adapter, if the adapter brokes you are screwed and need to expend extra money to buy another one. Not everyone have money to buy bluetooth stereo headsets so many people use wired ones and need a standard jack. How can Walkmans be true music phones without 3.5mm jack???
Well that was my humble opinion and I think most agree with me.
I simply can't understand you, if you are a SE lover why are you always on Nokia forums bashing Nokia??

XpressMusic is a cheap copy of them, so is Samsung's 'Beat' Range .

xpress music got 3.5mm port while some using 2.5mm port
another phone more best-iphone, they can choose to create their own port, but they use 3.5mm port, any idea???
WALKMAN just a software/program , no any HARDWARE support , just got an OLD TRADITIONAL port
you wan shake music?? N82,N95 also can shake, just donate 3Euro then get a full version of My Sound, boom

SE has already made new type of WALKMAN phones. compared to them Xpressmusic is not even close.you think it has good audio quality but it's not realy the phone,it's the headset. nokia phones usualy comes with noice cancelling headphones.if you use a non noice cancelling headset. you'll realize how wrong you are. dude.. nothing can beat the audio quality of WALKMAN !!!
