flashlight is there but u can't use it as torch, eventhough u install apps for this still u won't be able to make the light to stay.
to save battery do the following which is very very crucial:
menu-apps-my apps-notifications-open this go to settings, disable whatsapp.
facebook,twitter & whats app are inbuilt apps.
but u won't be able to use these apps as it drains out the battery very very quickly.
don't register in whaps app thru this phone.
i don't think someone will use these apps in a feature phone for that u should buy a smart phone.
u can browse the internet in this phone, check ur mails(normally thru the internet site)do not use push mail or phone mail exchange servers.
to save more power
menu-settings-display-backlight to one block, backlight time out within 10 secs.
menu-settings-connectivity-mobile data-off(this means u can't use internet, but whenever u want to use the net, just switch it on.)
menu-settings-phone-device updates-auto update should be never, whenever required manually update it.

much better if nokia put secondary cam. and wi fi at this phone , it screen protection is Corning gorilla glass i thought this phone is touch and type

It doesn't support my provider's 3G properly.. but I'd still buy it if I could.

Love this Nokia I had an android touch screen which I hated running apps and updates all the time, too big for the pocket. Now I have this Nokia 515 and it is a gem easy text all the apps for social networking glass polaroid screen read in the sunlight alloy matt frame housing and fits my pocket easy.
The only drawback is the tool for releasing the back cover and a bit fiddly to remove.

Nokia 515 is the worst phone I've ever used.it's battery is very poor it also have heating problem. And price is very high but low quality. Fu_kin nokia

Contacts are limited to 1000. It is not sufficient for me. Its memory is better than E51, E52 or E75 but supporting only for 1000 contacts.

I only need the phone for calls and SMSs but I'm not getting the value at all. Every other specifications are OK by me but I bought this phone because I have been having problem with touch screen phone and when I saw Nokia 515 dual sim, I thought this is the phone I need but to greatest surprice, I don't get up to 2hrs talk time. I am regrecting ever buying it.
