There is huge bug in the phone, I have bought the phone 2 weeks ago and yesterday I have send the phone to Nokia Care… :-(

Sound from its loudspeaker is good but not in league of N73. It is far better than any regular phone and its output is digitally clear. If you compare it with SE Walkman you will find it as good or even better. Dont expect that its loudness (through loudspeaker) will blow your mind or something but what will blow your mind is its clear sound.
I tried using in-ear headset and man this time it simply blow your ears.
Now drawbacks,
1) Body construction is not solid, you have to take care of it.
2) Battery is good but still cant expect it go beyond 2 days.
3) Display has narrow viewing angle means you have to see in to it with exact angle. But at that angle display is good.
4) Signal receiver is little weak, catches a line less than my N3110c.

lol @ people saying the phone is crap because of the loudspeaker, what are you guys expecting? its not a freaking boom box. no bass? low volume? are you guys deaf?! this phone has loud volume and great sound quality when listening to headphones (even cheap ones) and the speaker isn't too shabby either.

I own 5220 and know that its has really good sound for its price tag. There are people who understand music as loud only, they dont judge music by quality. I am satisfied with ultra clear digital sound from 5220.

can i increase/decrease d brigh... moreYou can't change the brightness of screen but to do this job there is a sensor fitted above screen. One thing is sure that this phone's screen will never hurt your eyes even when you see it in dark environment. Its a kind of shining and dark screen.
Headphones comes with this phone is not so good, average quality. Bass element is missing. Just a regular set.

Dont buy this stupid mobile.The name is xpress music,but the quality & effects are not so good.Then why the kept the name as xpress music.Pls change the name otherwise give importance to speakers & for sound effects.I am using this mobile from Oct-2008.Its waist for music.The amount of Rs.7930 is loss for me.

Get yourself a China made mobile, you will get really loud sound from it.
I have one question for you, on what basis you judge music quality OR according to you what makes sound quality good ??????

this phones the best the speakers are sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo loud and theres lighting bottons in the side this phones the best trust me buy this
