Dear Friends, Is this phone works in USA? Currently I am in India and it is working great and I am totally satisfied with this phone. Please let me know what I have to do to make this phone work in USA or Austrilia. I would be really appriciate if some with experience with using Nokia 5220 used in INDIA & USA.

aditya, 07 Nov 2008hi this is aditya i must tell ya that this phone has a gr8... morehey guys i bought it a couple of days ago the battery life is only one day i dont really use the music player also so is der a prob wit my battery or even u guys r also facing the same prob

U-M@N, 05 Nov 2008it's da worst mobile i've evr bought...it restarts automati... moreI noticed that whenever you use other headphones it restarts often. I yesterday tried SE HPM70 in-ear headphones and saw that it restarted two times in my 2-3 hours of music listening.

not a problem with mobile device.
so just chill n check out.

Peoples!!! Please, I need a answer: This 5220 have a two grid of loudspeaker. In this site (gsmarena) is wrote that the external sound is stereo. But, in this site nokia in Brazil, it´s write that the loudspeaker is dual mono.
Please, users: The external loudspeaker is stereo or is mono (two out´s)? Thanks!!!

it have a battry problem as well as hanging problem and it is really expensive too as i buy it 14800/Rs in pakistan .......nokia 3310 is much better than this ph .............
is'nt it guys ?????

Hi folks bought this mobile and using it from last 10 days.
some good things i noticed about this phone are-
good battery life
loud ring tone volume
good options of colors
fast interface
amazing sound quality
very light weight and slim body
good voice clarity also
Some drawbacks-
plastic built
keys are small in size
I would rate this phone 8.5/10. as it is a very cheap buy just rs7500 in mumbai.
Good for someone who wants a less expensive phone.cherss!!!

and what did you do then?
i was playing some songs on the loudest the phone could
(loudest: equalizer was an own set with everything on 12Dc)
end he just stopped
now my phone is totaly broken i think
there is nothing of noise anymore

my headphnz got lost n i cnt afford d nokia one as its of 6oo :'( so plzzzzzzz sugest me sum gud headphns compatibl 2 it.it shud giv gud quality n clear music lik d real ones n it shud nt b more den 350 rs..i shall b much obligd

why should you take this design and my big question is this that how do i insert sim,this is totally wrong
there is no software of this phone ....................you give the scratch book for songs in the box those songs don't activate the song...................veryyyyyyyyyyyyy bad handset
hanging problem in this phone ...............................voice problem is in this phone........................................

you know, when you push a navi key when not in the menu, those things such as the camera come up, because the phone considers it as a speed dial. This can be changed on the settings, so that when you push up, you get the browser as an example. And, I don't think 8 gigabytes of memory as full capasity is a little. Of course, if you don't buy memory cards, then 30 megabytes could seem slow.

Decently loud, can't compare it with N73 but very crispy and balanced sound. It is louder than regular Nokia fones, you can easily hear it in busy streets.
