Its handy. Camera has 16M COLORS which s excellent for outdoor shots. Touch s highly responsive.no hanging. Ram s good. Web s too good. You can hear bass in loudspeakers. Such a good phone n low price range. Video s like hd. Clarity s fine. Download third party apps for playing avi files. Nokia neva fall down if it continued releasing such phones. Don't even think of it go for it. Coolthanks.

Because I'm buying this one in next 20-30 days.
Many store retailers told me that company has stopped the production of this handset.

hey guys..i wanna buy this phone..thanks to your nice commments..but i have something to ask to all who own this kind of phone..it says it plays music around 33 hours...is this true??...by headset or speaker??

It's really nice phone compared than other phones.. But only one minus point is the loud speaker volume is low..

Its a lovely mobie having lots n lots to describe. No major faults to describe except flashlight. Compared to any other mobile in this range its a better phone. Its touch screen s good compared to samsungmonte. Hats off to nokia. A great kind of mobile. Love it. Go for it. Symbian s great for its os. Android r budding now. U can't get an android wit such a features in such a price range. Love it. Do it. Cheers guys

AnonD-4118, 17 Mar 2011what is the diff between nokia 5230 that of nokia 5235??5230 & 5235 are almost identical, yet there is minor differences b/w 'em. 5235 has preinstalled document viewer which 5230 lacks. Price of 5235 is rs1200 more than that of 5230, reason is free ovi music download, but that's not the only reason with 5235 u get WH 701 earphone which itself costs a little more than 1000 rs. Display quality of 5235 is slightly better,but it is only distinct wen u hold side-by-side. These r the only differences among these 2 phones. These 2 phones are complete value for money.Just close ur eyes & go for either of them. I myself own 5230 and i luv it.

hay ! friends nokia 5230 is a best phone but the sound quality is not good but voice clarity is very good and photos quality is also very good.

this phone has only 1 disadventage BATTERY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! today it already became a year that i use it and i completely in love with my phone hehe though it has low voice, though almost every day i have to go home with turned off phone but i cant stopp lovin it realy its good SMART phone!!!!!!! and its look like new one hehehe i adore it if you havent bought it yet go and buy it without any question!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Viewing the specification this phone is alot heavier it appeared to be made with a better quality of materials and colour scheme is brilliant so I as avid Nokia fan own alot of nokia like the 5120 tdma, 6120 classic, old 6310, 1100, 5320 xpress music 5130, 1100 nokia n82 which is my bro and others.
I calling this as a variant to the 5800 cause it was luanch after I love it I would of bought this don't get me wrong love the 5800 but there;s alot of issues that are yet to be work out and to see nokia launch this that is an exact replica minus a few thing is kind of dissappointed and why doesn't updated can be available for all the region at the same time we all pay generally for the same phone.

i aiso've 5230. Battery backup 2days(aver. 8 hr browsing,15hr music,etc....).tips: reduce backlight level,only charge when battery level came 1 r 2.find sbp shell software it've latest features for this mobille.

jst reset ur cell phone then ur mesage sending proble will solve the code is tht jst dial *#7370# and press call recive buton ur phone will reset but ur phone memory all lose first save ur phone memory thn do ths after out ur memory card ur mesege sending prbolm solve its my own experince
