When the no. of msgs exceed 1000, it take alot of time for a msg to open wen u go to inbox n try to open a msg.
Either delete old msgs or set memory card as msg storage memory instead of the phone storage( haven't tried the second option yet)

Please consult with your device manufacturer for assistance getting this device installed.
MTP USB Failed.

There is no benefit of having a nokia resistive touchscreen. Touchscreen response in 5230 is really irritating.
U won't get front videocall camera, 3g speed of 10.2 mbps, 3.2 mpx camera, flash, a 600 mhz processor in 5230. Also 5230 is really slow when compared to c5 & the loudspeaker volume of 5230 is one of the lowest I have ever heard.
So, now which one do u want to buy ???

Hay guyz, Have been using this phone for pas 6 months now. The phone is ok.off late when go to message, have to touch a msg atleast 100 times and after 2-3 mins. updated the software of the phone also but nothing changed. can anyone help me. regard

[deleted post]Hi Abbas when you use the net on your phone some files are come in your phone and those files are not other files those are temp files. To delete it just go to web menu go to option and select Clear Chache.

I am experiencing oddest of the problems for a cellphone with my 5230. Ever since the last software update my cellphone clock is losing time. It has lost about 15 mins over last 2 weeks (so somewhere around 1 min a day).
Has anyone else experienced/noticed similar problem with their cellphone?

lula, 01 Mar 2011how come the 5230 does not have a flash when i take a pictu... morepics in the daytime are ok.
At night, buy yourself a proper digital camera with a strong flash.
The 5230 is a phone!
