It is very brilliant mobile. Also its camera is amazing but it has 2mp, why not 3.2

this is a very nice phone...using since two years.... runs whats app also...adobe reader is available or u can download pdf reader app from mobile9.com ...

The only downside on this phone is the lack of low battery alerts. You get one small warning once and if it's not already on your ear at the time, you'll miss it. I often miss the time when it happens and it dies on me.

This is my second phone, and its great, the batery its ok, and i use for waze a works ok. good signal, its a old but a great phone.

Its working fine i used it more than 2 yrs and no problem only one thing it does not support bangla.

The Nokia 5230 is the worst phone I have ever owned. I have changed the battery twice and in the three years I have owned it, it still has a problem with suddenly overheating and turning off.
It also will drop the charge randomly. Going from fully charged to 1 bar in less than one day.
I have called customer support in the past and been told that there is no problem with the phone!
The touch screen is also completely random as to when it works. I have had times when the screen will not respond and I can not access the phone. I have to try repeatedly and it finally works. I am touching it hard or pressing it firmly and yet it does this.
I purchased this phone because a past Nokia phone I had was a gem. This one is not! It makes me question even purchasing this brand again
