talari rajesh, 27 Dec 2010hi friends i would like to buy nokia 5230 can u suggest mehey got a new nokia 5230 couple days ago.. i had to unlock it and for some reason when i receive calls the person name does not show up.. it just says "no number" anyone got any idea how i can fix it?

has anyone used voip application? Skype etc. How does the device fare?? Do these work?? If they do, how well?

It's a great phone, with great sound, great screen, a very sensitive touchscreen, great signal almost in any place. I think that the 70Mb of internal memory is an outdated spec, because my phone comes with 320Mb of free memory and a lot of content preinstalled like the OviMaps with the maps of my country, some videos and songs, apps and games. Maybe WiFi and be the perfect phone... anyway, I just love my 5320!!!

I bought this last month from India and using for Internet connection with Airtel/Aircel which is running very great. This is my 1st Nokia since my favorite SE is costlier with similar features (almost double the cost).
Good: Network connectivity, 2MPcamera, sound, touch screen, lock, handwriting recognition (2 good), video quality far better
Bad: User interface is not so easy, need more practice.
In short - its worth buying for 3.2 screen used for internet.
Most of the Nokia use same processor. Hence no need to go for costlier phone if no features like camera and speakers are required.

i just have this phone for 5 months.
now i facing dead pixels on lcd.
speaker playing music having cracking noise and lock unlock scroll keep on jamming.
u decide 2 buy it or nt

Anonymous, 25 Dec 2010which one samsung or nokia 5230 have a bad speaker?give me ... morenokia 5230 is poor in sound quality ! Also wave has a capactv screen.. So the touch response will b better .. But still I wud choose nokia :)
