john khan, 21 Jun 2013i have previously had the handset for 24 months i have noth... moreI've owned a 5230 for well over 3 years. It's fallen in a bath full of water. It's been dropped on concrete many times from about 3 to 4 feet. After all of this it's still in good condition for it's age. It's definitely robust.
The minor irritations are: (1) The occasional OS freeze which can only be cured by removing the battery; (2) If the screen is locked I am unable to stop an alarm and can only put the alarm into a sleep state.
On the plus side: (1) It's very robust; (2) The sat nav is great; (3) The touch screen is fine; (4) It's dirt cheap.
Overall, considering the price I paid new: 7/10

Yoda, 17 Jun 2013This is the best phone so far I have used in Last 5 years.I... morei have previously had the handset for 24 months i have nothing but complaints with the handset it turs itself off freezes. The touch screen itself i shocking absoulte disgrace by nokia in my opinion

This is the best phone so far I have used in Last 5 years.It is been so popular without any complaints from the people I know and yeah... so many people use this,it just astonishing!
