To Mr Fixx: Use RealPlayer Converter (free with RealPlayer download) to convert any video to Nokia N97 (it is preset on the converter). It will be converted to a 3GPP format that is perfect fro your phone (screen size, resoltuion etc is already preset). The video can then be transferred to your phone and will play perfectly.

john khan, 21 Jun 2013i have previously had the handset for 24 months i have noth... moreI've owned a 5230 for well over 3 years. It's fallen in a bath full of water. It's been dropped on concrete many times from about 3 to 4 feet. After all of this it's still in good condition for it's age. It's definitely robust.
The minor irritations are: (1) The occasional OS freeze which can only be cured by removing the battery; (2) If the screen is locked I am unable to stop an alarm and can only put the alarm into a sleep state.
On the plus side: (1) It's very robust; (2) The sat nav is great; (3) The touch screen is fine; (4) It's dirt cheap.
Overall, considering the price I paid new: 7/10

Yoda, 17 Jun 2013This is the best phone so far I have used in Last 5 years.I... morei have previously had the handset for 24 months i have nothing but complaints with the handset it turs itself off freezes. The touch screen itself i shocking absoulte disgrace by nokia in my opinion

This is the best phone so far I have used in Last 5 years.It is been so popular without any complaints from the people I know and yeah... so many people use this,it just astonishing!
