This, as with most Nokia phones now days, is a true piece of junk. It was Nokia's attempt to get back in the US Smartphone market a few months ago and it has been a TOTAL FAILURE. I've owned one for almost a year - and as soon as my contract is up with T-Mumble - I'm done with them AND Nokia... they seem to deserve each other.

if u are still not satisifieed, use a laptop or a pc

hmm... battery last only for 4 hours.. not recomended for users whos wants to talk a lot..

I can't believe some of you saying this phone is great.
I have a HTC desire, but use this 5230 for work and MAN there is a HUGE difference...this 5230 isnt a smartphone! Its definately a dumb phone..a desire or an iphone is a smart phone, nokia suck....the touch screen is laggy and plain crap..the screen is too small, the internet is slow and sucks....theres no good apps, its the same old borings crappy nokia settings...for the price i guess it is ok, but damn nokia suck and this is definately not a 'smartphone'

I love this smartphone, I goy this because it was the lowest price smartphone I could find at the time. It is perfect for what I want, it is very user friendly, once you get used to the menus etc.
I use it mainly for texting and is easy to use. I have also used it for Twitter and found it to be superb. The extras included a Navigation system,as this phone has GPS I have had to use it on occasions when my Mavman has thrown a wobbly, It works perfectly well as a Sat Nav but as the screen is smaller than a normal one I found it a little small to use all the time.
Only one little annoyance, is that the battery life doesnt seem to be very long, and it does show a few bars of powerbut within a, but once you know that is goiong to happen, just keep it topped up.
few minutes it is out.

A superb phone at an affordable price.
