hi every one here,
please can sum 1 tell me when using skype on this fone on 3G networks, is there any solution for secodary camera, coz the whom u calling cant see u.
or the other ways primary camera can be used for this purpose,

Music in headset is good. For speakers, lowend se phones sound better.

and also the important thing make the phone offline each night you sleep and you will make it last 5 days good luck

I sucseeded to make nokia 5230 last up to 5 days without charging !
Do the following to make it
1 go to camera setting make picture quality in middle
2 go to camera setting make video quality in high email quality
3 make light brightness one bit high than the lower side in display setting
4 make light duration ten seconds in display setting
5 make light notification of missed calls 5 minutes
6 use gsm network in base and 3g in case you need it only
7 dont hear much music only one hour daily
8 try to use internet in gsm mode and one half an hour daily
9 go to voice recording setting and choose standard recording quality
10 go to themes setting and choose theme effects off
11 do not use themes other than that are set in your phone
12 go to themes and homescreen theme and choose contact bars
13 go to wallpaper and choose default
14 go homescreen setting and homescreen and disable contact bars and shortcuts
15 do not use gps more than 5 minutes
that was the best i did

I want to buy a cellphone upt0 7-8k, with 3 requirements: Good camera, Good music quality and decent internet browsing. Initially I planned to go with HTC Smart, but then I saw this phone. Please tell me about the sound quality using earphone in Nokia 5230.
Please its urgent, as I am going to buy this sunday.

I totally agree with you..
This handset is the bomb!
I like the non-glossy plastic body of 5230.
Because in time, unlike other cellphones that have metal body and some cellphones that have glossy plastic body that attracts dirt, dust, finger print marks and rusts in time!!!
But with this!, there is no problemo!
My 5230 is almost 1 year old, but it still looks brandnew, 100% no scratchess (considering that mine is color white).
And the features is just great.

Hi every1, i m using Nokia 5230 from last 5 months n i have noticed these things!
*Camera n video quality is excellent. no 1 can expect such clarity wit jst 2 mp cam
* sound quality wit the ear piece comes wit d phne is bad. but just u need to buy some better ear piece for it. i m using sony headset its giving wonderful o/p.
*plenty of applications available
*internet speed is very nice
*touch response is good but sometimes it delays
* GPS is very nice. i m mad abt this feature.
* eye catching handset
* it adds more style to ur looks ha ha ha
* not much happy wit its battery back up it is just for 1 day wit much use otherwise wit normal use it comes for 1 and a half day.
* bit heavy handset
Overall i m really happy with this set. i never thought dat buying this phne was my bad decision. wit this price range its gr8 phne. and Brand "Nokia" really matters.
