Durable 4n. My daughter flung it onto a wall 8 metres away at a height of 10 metres nothing happened. 4 months now.

This 4n is 9ce but I recommend prospective buyers to top up their bux a little bit & go 4 a 5800 XpressMusic. Their differences is strickingly significant yes they look alike at 1st glance. No video calling, poor camera quality, low and poor quality volume, no 2ndary cam. If money is not something to worry much about, pliz dont go 4 this 4n

Its very nice sad it doesnt have a secondary camera, no video call. But its money well spent.

ans to ur 2nd prob..no not shown..it would be bettr if u choose wat type of no it is wen savin..like u get a poption private mobile,home mobile..etc..so u know wat type of no ur being called ..otherwise d edit no is always der.

The sound output from the head phone is pathetic. Even at the max volume set it sucks. In addition when you listen to rock or jazz music there is a disturbance in the headset. A Krrrrr sound. The screwed up sound affects the video experience aswell, naturally. Why a touch phone if just for pics? For 7.5k its not worth. Has a series of problem which drives you crazy on your daily use, which infact makes the handset not so useful as one would expect it to be. Please do not buy this phone. Never a nokia 5230. Nokia screwed on this product.

You got a Message from Unknown number, U Opend it and found that messages says that he is your freind with name RAJ. You immediately saved that number in your Contacts.
Still the Message Header which there is Number has to show your friend Name, it doesnt show. It still Shows the Number only.
You got 2nd Message from that same Freind, now in your Inobx you can see the Name Now.
So It Doesnt show in Inbox your freinds Name for your Older SMS what he sent after you save his Number.

Dear All,
I have Bought on Oct 14th, 2010 my Birthday, Nokia 3G 5230 from PCH Hyderabad Store for Rs 7428. It has 2 GB External Micro SD Card given. As the Box behind it appears Red Panel Phone. But there are two Colours only Avaiable. One is White & One is Black Panel. I have taken Black.
Everything is good and cool.. I want to tell you about the Lagging Factors, Minus of this Mobile.
1)
In Some of Nokia Models when you want to Delete SMS, there is MARK option, here in 5230 when you open inbox,
1st Step = you wil see Options in bottom left - Click it,
2nd Step = when you go to options Scroll Down for Mark/unmark
3rd Step = Click that again in that "Mark, Mark read, Mark all"
4th Step = you have to select then "MARK".
So TOTAL 4 Steps.
If u select Mark for that sms, the second sms also you have to do the Same Procedure, go to options and Mark it,.. so for each sms you have to go to Options, goto Mark/unmark, then click Mark...
Its better you delete each message separately, as in Options you wil get Delete option also while you go on Scrolling for to check for Marking.
So its not like that one message you mark it, when you scroll to next message in INBOX, Instead of Below Options, "Mark" button was there for Major NOKIA models, where you can easily go on marking Each fastly what ever you want.
2) Any contact already stored in your phone book, When you want to see the recent calls..if you want to tell the number to your freinds that some person has called you, you cannot see the Number of that recent caller, you can only see the Name, you cant see "View" of that caller Number. Major Nokia Phones have this option. For this you have to go to contacts and search the name.
Here in example Missed calls Example "ABHI" is appearing. Bottom left you have options, Right you have "BACK". So even you go to "Options" you can find options like "call, create message, open contacts, save to contacts, use number, delete.. etc" I am using Use Number -> where it have 2 more , EDIT, COPY. I am clicking Edit where i can see number.
Still I am Looking each options will get back to you.. about the NEGATIVE FACTS.
