Once u download PC cuite just trf all ur data from ur old memory card including Messages (Inbox-Drafts-Sent-Folders) to ur PC and then connect ur Nokia 5230 and hit sync.

Ive got this phone and for the price its great, for a 2 megapixel the camera does well and the res of the UI is nice and easy, it does have stylus and the responsiveness of the screen is good, the volume of music is lower than most but i don't mind as it is great quality without distortion and good bass. it has the occasional glitch when it freezes but what smart phone doesn't do that every so often, not a bad phone at all.

After reads the review of 5230. I believe this handset have a good sound quality but low volume in speaker. Why the 5230 have mono sound quality issue?...i thinks every good handset have some enemy in this forum. A Good handset vs bad opinions only now.
Nice product, good price, good features (but without wi-fi).

Hi All,
I have two questions about this phone Nokia 5230.
1.I purchased this mobile in Bangalore.When i try to connect to maps it gave me an error maximum number of connection in use.Then i deleted one access point mobile office since i am using airtel live, then i think now the error is not occuring.But the mobile is showing Delhi maps when i click on my position.How to get Bangalore maps?
2.In which folder or place are the default ring tones like nokia ringing tone stored in this mobile.I get only when i go to profiles and try change the ringing tone.But is there a folder where they are stored?
