BTW, to those who doesn't want to use spbshell. you can use Orange Oratsu homescreen. It's minimalistic, simple, yet as practical as spb in many ways

3G of this unit is for data transfer (when you surf the net). If your country doesn't support 3G, then you're better off with the 5233, same hardware less functionality, cheaper price.

My advise is this, if on-board speakear(s) is/are a great deal to you maybe you should consider X6 but double the price of 5230 if not more.
But with my Philips and Senny earphones, it rocks totally.

SPB mobile shell is a superb app other than default layouts it can further modded and i am using htc sense ui on my 5230 with 10 homescreens.
with s60v5 phone you can add as many features in your phone,it is stable and touch response is awesome after latest fw update.
now hoping for another major update from nokia.
i completely love this phone after 7 months of use

hey noypi... thank you for your comment.. but still.. can you rate the speaker from 1-10? then i just want to know if the loudspeaker is comparable with nokia 5300? co'z im using it and i want to change my phone... or maybe you can advice me some cheap nokia touch phones with goog speaker except the nokia 5530... thank you very much!!

guys, just nevermind the troll. It's Walkman. he's using a different IP so he must be banned already by gsmarena. Just click "Report" on the upper right side of his post and let the site admins deal with him.
Anyway, to those who are using spbshell and is worried about their RAM (not that it matter to me), just use RAMBLOW and enable Memory boost, it will give you additional RAM plus it's a nice app to close apps running in the background which you do not need at the moment

If you will listen to music via earphones (and will be using earphones similar to what you use with 5800) the output has very little difference.
but using the default earphone that comes with the 5230 package, you will be disappointed as the earphone (not the phone) is crappy.
5230, 5233 and 5235 have the same hardware.

hey guys... i'm a music lover...but i heard some bad comments against its loudspeaker.. but i want this phone... i just want to ask if this phone is comparable with what nokia model in terms of volume? or maybe you can tell me if this phone is like half volume of nokia 5800? if you will rank its speaker volume from 1 to 10... how is it? thank you in advance!!

I cook my own FW based on my preference. in Symbianize, there's a cfw made by wolper which is very minimilastic but is very fast (as per users feedback) that's why I'm suggesting it to you.

touchsreen works like a charm.
super fast inet speed.
multitasking is really nice
i buy a 8GB kingston memory card in 770 rs
and its has four class
is this memory card good?
