[deleted post]I'm from the Philippines, and the C6 is available here at 13,300 in Philipine pesos, so maybe you can use that as a reference in Indian pricing later on.

5230 users are regreting sound quality, even if you buy thousands of headsets it will always sound bad and it will neva be at par with xpress music ha ha buy now regret later

good thing i have the n97, x6, 5800 and the c6, but this phone is still one of my fave. it's feature-packed for its price.

My phone is nokia 1202, and i am hoping my mom would give this 5230. but until i have this i am gonna bash this phone so others would not enjoy it.

IF you are even close to deciding that the 5230 is for you - STOP - RECONSIDER - DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY.
I bought one of these devices right before the US launch thru a pal that was traveling in the UK. I activated the device on T-Mobile US which didn't seem to be a problem.. I upgraded my service for text messages and web access..once again, no problem. BUT WAIT !!!
I registered with Nokia and Nokia USA.. Registered with the Ovi.Com store as well... all seemed ok.. THEN I needed some help...
From the Ovi.Com store I downloaded a weather app.. seems pretty simple, right?? A modest weather app... the application 'hung' in the middle of installing the app.. Now the app won't start - at all - and if I try to remove it, I get a "File Corrupt" message..and it doesn't remove it.. What now??
The T-Mobile folks advised that I do a 'master reset' on the phone to get back to a basic starting point..not a bad suggestion. So I also sent a note to the Nokia USA folks to see what they had to say.. I sent the serial number and the product code along in the note.
I received a note back from the Nokia USA folks that not only would NOT help me, they had no desire to assist in ANY way because 'we only have the parts and software available in the United States to repair phones that were expected to be sold in the United States.'....huumm...... some adherence to global marketing or sales initiatives Nokia claims to do...
LAST Nokia device I ever buy - EVER.

WARNING : if you are music lover than stay away from this phone music horrible loudspeaker is horrible and headset too
other things is just fine
i love this phone i think i should buy new creative headset for it

I have asked my mom to stop giving money for sex toy and start give for this mobile, and she said yes! now i will start collecting money for 5230...
