5235 is most expensive (features similar to 5230 except it has) 1 year music downloads from ovi and a better earphone in the package

Buds, 21 Jun 2010Nokia is fooling its consumers! Now here come 5235 with bet... moreNope. 5235 has the same hardware (except for the chrome edging) with 5230. The reason why most people say it has better sound quality is because it has a better earphone packaged. It a "Comes with Music" phone sorta like XpressMusic but it has the same sound output via the speaker or via the headphonesport. Use the headset of the 5235 on your 5230 and it will have the same sound as the 5235.
5235 comes with a heftier price with basically the same phone. If you want the 1 year free music downloads from ovi, then buy the 5235.
For budget conscious buyers, the 5233 is even a better deal albeit without 3G capability. (If you don't need 3G go for it)
But if you want the 3g functionality and gps, then 5230 is the best buy with the affordable pricing.
5235 owners would say, it's the software that makes the sound better, then install the 5235 FW on your 5230 as I did. use navifirm and it's there. hahaha.
You would ask me? is it compatible with 5230? the answer is YES? why? Because as I have said earlier, it's the same phone in a different package. :)

Ok here what ive discovered. It really has a nice/fair sound quality...try to remove the battery cover and play ur music, its louder and clearer. Its a trapped under a faulty casing.

Great Phone in Great Budget. If one can live without WiFi and your on tight budget, this phone is your answer.
1. Great Responsive Touch Screen, Great on-screen QWERTY key, which is very responsive too.
2. One of my favorite feature is its A-GPS. GPS work like charm and you got life time turn by turn voice navigation free with OVI Maps 3 (thanks to Nokia).
3. Web Browsing in good experience on the phone, but heavy pages tends to load slower on the native browser. But 3rd party browser can solve that problem easily.
4. Email client works GREAT, you can add multiple accounts.
5. Overall experience with the mobile phone was great (pretending that I don't need WiFi), Camera Image is Good, I enjoyed capturing video in High resolution using the phone.
A Great Smart Phone Without WiFi. From Me its 8.8/10

I bought the 5230 a month ago and I am so impressed with all the functions. This is an amazing phone for the price. The phone never freeze. Internet is fantastic always on 3.5g. I get all my e-mails, facebook is great and fast and browsing is a pleasure.. no FRREZING. The a-gps is free on this phone and so convenient and never loose signal. All the Apps form Ovi store is good, news24,accuweather,good games and fun stuff. the on screen keybord is effective.
The Nokia 5230 is just an amazing phone and I can tell you that there is just NO other phone in this price range with all this functions and ease of use.

raghav, 20 Jun 2010which one should i buy corby s3653 or nokia 5230this phone is better then the samsung Corby because it has more functions then corby u can visit utube,facebook and etc sites the screen is bigger and +after updating its s/w the touch ov the phone becomes same as in corby in 5230 we can expand the memory up to 16 gb and corby only supports 8gb the screen also rotates .a left handed person can use this mobile (5230) because the buttons on the side are in a good position trust me nokia 5230 is an awesome cell .i am also using it i just bought it on 25/may/2010. and it totally satisfied me and if any one needs some more info about this cell plz contact me on my cell no. 03214446145 or u can also find me on facebook by the name(shahzeb.rasheed)

I got one in February. Works very well as a PMP and pretty good for browsing, especially with the latest S/W update it does justice to full webpages. The screen is good under artificial light and in low light but is poor in sunlight. Battery life is quite good with standby upto 4-5 days with 1 hour of music everday and 15 mins or so of calling
