Recieved on contract by 3 network. The battery lasts half a day it loses software and the only site that can help Nokia cant reinstall the main inportant apps the phone needs. MY3 fast connection by 3 to check your usage has gone now going through the internet for 3 minutes costs £30 no joke i used the phone for three minute and already used up a lot of money. The phone dont even come with up to date software and it tells you to do so by pc. If you get one on contract buy a payasyou go sim and put it in before you go bankrupt. This is a network phone money in the networks pocket and faster tham you say turn off honest its ben my worst nightmare come true

Only my disppointment with 5230 is can't make or recieve video calls... @.30 paise toooo :( But the speed of internet is mind blowing am getting above 2MBps in ma mobile very satisfied with BSNL 3g and my smart mini computer 5230...

I am Using 8GB class 6 Silcon Power Micro SD HC card in N5230 from past 6 months no probs at all Bought at a price of 850/- one year warranty at hyderabad... rocking and satisfied with the speed

Its excellent mobile phone in the price of Rs. 7120/- with all the features available for smart phone except Wi-Fi.

roll, 16 Jun 2010Which one is better for its performance??? 4gig or 8gig?? N... morethe same. Most memory cards have a standard read speed. Class6 cards have 6mbps write speeds and class4 have 4mbps. But writing on the card doesn't matter on phones unless you really like to download big files via net connection but still I doubt the network speed would surpass the card's write speed. My point is, most of the times we access the card via (reading it by the phone) and not writing on it. So class 6 cards which are really more expensive doesn't really matter a lot. Even in the psp, write speed doesn't matter really (Except when you transfer movies and big games on the memstick via and this is true with phones also).
I am using a 8GB class4 Kingston microSD-HC and the transfer rate of a 450MB from PC to memcard is just a few seconds so, don't bother about it.
In terms of capacity. it's a different thing. the 5230 is capable of 16GB microsds so you can use this. it really doesn't matter what capacity you use. this will depend on your need. if you are heavy on files: movies, music, etc. then by all means use a bigger capacity card.
