No mention that the 5230 is one third of the price of a N97 with most features intact - if you want WiFi and higher Cam pixels, then buy the N97
I am also disapointed in the Nokia 5210 from 10 years ago because it doesn't compare to the iPhone 4

This phone is a dissapointment. It doesn't compare to the N97's strengths and features.I've owned both phones and Nokia is seriously falling behin from all brands. I've been a loyal fan for many years but this year I'm switching to another brand because Nokia totally dissapointed me in all aspects of their service.

Thanks everone for reviews. I want to buy this phone. But i am unaware of touchscreen devices, whether nokia or samsung or lg or sony!!
SO MY QUESTION IS>>
CAN I TRUST TOUCHSCREEN PHONES?
WHO KNOWS AFTER A YEAR IT WILL LOST ITS TOUCH SENSITIVITY??
MORE THAN THAT IT DOESNOT HAVE KEYPAD. IF TOUCHSCREEN DIES, THEN 5230 IS NOTHING FOR NOTHING!!
SO, ANY PROOF THAT THIS PHONE WILL LIVE LONGER THAN 2 OR 3 YEARS???
For first months all will use stylus. Then everyone will use it for cleaning their ears and use hands so that the touchscreen will die soon...Is this truth??
How do i keep this phones touchscreen healthy and SCRATCH PROOF. Do i have to buy any protection covers separately?. And BTW does this touchscreen has any warranty?
So please advice me all NOKIA LOVERS...SHOULD I BUY THIS PHONE?

I have the 5230 now for 4 months - I updated the firmware, have the latest Ovi Maps, use the HSPDA 3G to it's fullest capicity, have 8 gigs of music on the memory card - all and all, it is awesome !! - basically a N97 at a third of the price with no WiFi and lower Cam pixels.
Most comments on this forum are from people that I suggest to return their phones and ask for their money back, because you are too stupid to own and operate a mobile phone
