raj, 07 Jun 2010plz help me out to activate map on my device. I activated g... moreFirst up download and install OVI suite from nokia website. After that connect your phone and sync your phone with the suite. After that goto the maps section and select the country for which the map is to be installed. Download the map and installation will be done automatically. After installation, disconnect the device and you are good to go.... This way you can work offline without connecting to a network.
For online services using GPRS connectivity, in map settings, select a working access point instead of the default connection.

I downloaded ovi suite and installed. for india map it is showing 102mb size. Do we need to download from ovisuite and transfer? I downloaded the maps from link which you sent last week and i copied under cities folder(i removed old one). After copying also it is howing only old maps. Do you have suggestions.

this is a very low price for touch screen with all facilities & camera clarity is very good & Audio at head phone is too Good.
this is the one of the good product in Nokia history

hye all.i hve a problem.if i record a video using the tv compatible setting,the videos always stuck after a few seconds,but if i use the email compatible setting,it works well,oh btw,i save the video to memory card.any solution?thanks.=)

But can use 3G for speed browsing as compared other 2G service. You can watch TV, videos(it will not take buffering time for streaming videos as per my exp). Downloading and uploading data will be faster. Hope this is what u are looking

In 5230, 3G can be used only for internet connection.. You cant make video calls as no secondary camera.... also 3g is not only meant for video camera...
