Please state which of the two phones are u talking about i.e. the 5230 or the 5233 when u enquire about a phone. It will clear out a lot of confusion.

fahad, 11 May 2010help out plzzzz !!! is there no free ovi navigation on nok... morefahad, just upgrade your mobile to new version 20.0.05 and u'll get free navigation for life, is true, i currently using it... just go to nokia website to find the update.. happy travelling :)

The 5233 is also available in Australia.
I have a catalogue from a local shop advertising the unit for $199 Australian dollars.
Please understand the 5233 is not just for the Indian market. It is definitely not exclusive to India.

[deleted post]price of 5233 is 6250rs. in ajmer , rajasthan. it is best choice 2 buy in this range , c3 is also a great cell with wifi ,bid display ( 2.4 " ) ,3.5mmjack ,good look , it will be available in june , but its video recording is sucks so if u don't need good video recording then u can go 4 it , but i like 5233 more than 6303 , and corby .

I would like to tell you that i am using this phone since a month and i would like to tell you that it is an awesome phone . Though it has a camera of only 2 megapixel but still it has a really really good camera clarity. It is even better than nokia n 73 which has a camera of 3.2 mega pixel. . . . . . . . . It shoots great videos and it has a large screen which makes it very much eligible for watching videos . So according to me it is a must buy phone.

just one more... moreWell mate as far as my knowledge goes, GPS signal in 5230 and 5800 are not that great. My friend has a 5800 and it takes quite a bit of time to get a GPS lock on. Cloud cover and large obstacles like buildings can make the task that much difficult.Since you have been using the GPS, I guess it might have to do with either the GPS receiver or the software itself.
My advice would be to first of all switch off the phone, then take out the battery and reinsert it after about 1minute. Then switch it on again. This can help to clear the RAM memory and the processor cache. This works especially well in the case of a non responsive touch panel. Other than that if the problem still persists, it's better to take it to the service center. It is also advicable to update your OS to the latest version. It might likely be caused by a software bug which could be fixed by updating it.
