the cam is pretty decent. nyt pix arent that good. video quality at max(thru video options) gives u a good clear video (in lighted condtn).
betterty life depends upon ur use entirely. u cud play games/music all day n it wud last a day max. use it wisely n it can stay fr 3-4days.

vqree, 30 Apr 2010hi guys... is this phone really support for 16gb micro sd? ... morei m using a 8gb card. its kinda slow in response so i wouldn't recommend putting 16gb.

i just wanna ask for some owner that has been bought this phone...? the sound quality doesn't big deal to me the important for me the recieving of messages...?

hi people i bought my nokia 5233 last 28 based on my experience.....the phone is very cheapy and looks attractive.... this is the best phone i ever had but im a little bit disappointed with the sound quality.... but its great if you use an amplifier and connect it.... about the camera quality so cooooool superb promise with out flash but its very clear like 3 megapixel.... and with the nokia ovi i can easily download apps so awesome promise i really really recomend this for techy and samrt peoples...... and the disadvantage of this phone is low sound quality. that the thing for me a little bit disappointed and also the scracth of right side of my phone whuwhuwhu im depressed i dnt know where this scratch came from whuwhuwhuw...... this phone is perfect a million lots.....

i have problem wit nokia 5230 while video recording it gets strucked after two seconds and only i can hear voice and also i cant switch on my cell without removin the micro sd card .. Can somebody help me

there's nothing wrong in the nokia 5230 if ur a type of a person that is not too much expecting for a phone like suppose to have videocall and other things i think 5230 was the right for a person that is inlove in music and gamer beacause it has a accelerometer the if you are a texting addict u can use this too because it's touchscreen is very sensitive try to scroll then if the scrolling is too much you will see a space like and that can be considered sensitive and that was good...for me it's ok...because too much apps for a phone

I'v bought 5233.It's ok.But I m not happy with it's battery life.If u only listen to music then it's ok,it can play music long tym.It has 2 MP camera but seems 2 b lyk 3.2 MP.Music is not loud at all.Nokia have 2 think abt their fatty designed phone lyk this. U will b happy with it's price.So many features at a really affordable price.

option. What the use of 3g

When I try to delete only one particular album from the music player in my Nokia 5233, it gives a message “Operation failed. File corrupted”. Any idea why this is coming up and any steps to resolve this?

I have had this for a week now, It seems to be O.k, but the screen seems to be a little weak. In sunlight you can't read anything and the batteries don't seem to last that long. My very old Motorola used to last a week, which is why I was very reluctant to purchase one of these new touch screens. I was going to buy the Nokia 6730C, until the wife pushed me into this one. I'm not too interested in anything apart from calling and texting, so all the other stuff is meaningless to me.
The bluetooth seems to be very weak and won't work with my new blueant wireless car adapter, which is not good in my country where it's illegal to talk on the phone unless hands free.
So sorry if I can't comment on all the other functions as I won't be using them.
Probably not the phone for you if you just want (like me) a phone to just do that....phone/call people.
So, I should have just bought the 6730C.....nevermind.
