these model have a cool typing experience, more faster than ordinary keypad if u have use any phone with on screen keypad... before these i use hp ipaq rw6828, very suck typing experience..

bad News.. bad news
Been to the Nokia Priority center yesterday here in my home city kollam. They say that 5230 is discontinued by Nokia. The actual reason being a bit moot and rediculous. Its simple marketing strategy. With a phone (5230) as good as the mighty 5800 but costing a fraction less, it is kind of ruining the sales of both the high end 5800 and the low end 5233. The representative being a friend of mine says that the success of 5230 is the result of its early discontinuity.
maybe nokia feels that there is no need for a phone in this range as the distinction between low end and high end phones become minimal. Customers are morethan content with the features of 5230 as it costs just a tad higher than the 5233 andway less than 5800 with almost similar features. So from now on, low budget customers will be forced to buy the less pricey 5233 while the high end customers can opt for the older 5800 which nokia has no plans of discontinuing or improving.
So I advice anyone plannin to get the 5230 to get it anyway you can. Don't expect anything this good anytime soon.
From what i've heard, Nokia will maintain that void to boost its sales of high end phones.

hey..d phone is very nice.....m happy vid d phone........but d music quality is very bad regarding its xpress music tag.....nice battery lyf n great touch response n its 3g........i must say its a worth buy 4 8300.00inr

pot-pot, 09 Apr 2010is the quality of the sound of this phone good?Hello p0t-p0t, about s0und quality with l0ud speakers, it is kind of low but it has great s0und especially if u use other branded earph0nes.
I used mine with my 5610xm's earph0ne and its really great. I had also tried my friend's sony earph0ne (i forg0t the m0del, but the one that has big f0am with headband) and its really superb.. I guess its with the earph0nes that makes the s0und brilliant. Ü

As per n0kia's limited warranty w0nt claim ur ph0ne if there w0uld be any neglegence fr0m the user with the use of third party apps... But maybe n0t also.. How about u? Do u think it wil n0t invalidate its warranty?
And by the way, so u said u hacked ur ph0ne two m0nths ago? Can u share s0me custumizati0n u've g0t there and what are other apps u have? Ü

Plunzz, 09 Apr 2010And wat do u mean by its on "back order" ??? Incase the retailer/distributor is out of stock then they reorder the product frm the supplier to meet the excess demand, which is called back order. I hope this helps.
