This phone is not good phone in nokia..
this phone has lots of drawbacks..
1. It has mono speaker by which we can't hear the ringtone in the crowd...
2. Its headphone which given by the nokia is bad. but by using third party head set it works fine.
3. Its rotate sensor is slower compared to 5800.
4. It hangs when we use internet.
5. It some time hangs when the call is attended in the lock condition.
6. It is slow in process also
7. It does not have front camera. so we cant do videocalling by our phone. while in 3g video calling the best feature.

nv, 30 Mar 2010guys can anyone tell me whether it has flow touch or not wh... moreI have installed many softwares in memory card. When phone switch off due to empty battery and then i start after charging, the phone doesnt start. It get struck at nokia logo. Then i have to remove memory card from phone, remove battery and start again. Then it opens perfectly. Now i insert memory card. What is the problem that phone doesnt start with memory card? Is the problem with memory card or phone?

I have this phone since 1 month. All I can add to what has been said is that it's solid. It fell two times direct from my hands into the concrete, and it's still working, just a litte scratch on the edge.
Otherwise this iss my first smartphone, and I'm learning day after day how much those items could be handy. I still can't use GPS whatever, Too busy to search how to configure it to work without Internet. And the keyboard-like touches are too small for my fingers, so I'm using my pen.
For the Mp3 I agree that nokia earpieces are rubbish. I passed a long time with equlizer and I still can't get a good sound of it, so I guess I'm gonna buy new ones.
I have no problem with the camera. I use it only to take pictures of things to remember after,e.g. an item on a shop, to go check it's reviews on internet when I'm home...
In sum, it is a very good item. I'm making my buddies jealous because I paid nothing compared to their expensive phones(150 dollars with an 8gig micro SHD), and because they know that wifi on a phone is just a gimmick...

Can anyone tell me why this happens it has happened twice to me
the first time it didnt know what to do so i had to hard reset the phone and the second time i just removed the memory card while restarting the phone and then hot swapped it after which it worked fine.
I again tried to see if the restart works fine and it did work fine.
Can anyone tell me whats the problem and why does it happen most often???
And after that problem i mean removing the battery..and restarting... it starts working fine

Have been using it for just a day and i feel it is a value for money deal. Has most of the functions of a high end phone. The GPS is much better than the E-90. The fix is very quick.

The purpose of buying an SD card is? Other comments posted also mention problems with the battery, problems with the phone locking, and a less than desirable camera. The sound quality of this phone is also excellent. The phone has a few querks and the odd stability issue, but it rocks!

Whoever says this is a crappy phone for the price is crazy. The Samsung star for a start does not have 3G, GPS with free voice navigation, PUSH EMAIL and it is not SMART PHONE. This has all that. The only thing the star has over this phone is the camera.
This is a smart phone on a budget that kicks the arses of the competition for the price point. Best to get a microSD card if none supplied.

enstin, 29 Mar 2010does this phone support video calling because it has that t... moreno.man it is not a camera it is only a touch sensor which help the user to save their phone from any accidental case...like unneccessary touch so...in this phone video call is not possible
