hello guys i m going 2 buy 5233 i have some questions plz ans my questions .........-does this phon supports 3gp and wmv video files ?(wmv is not important 4 me but 3gp is very impotant ) so plz ans my questions i wil grateful 2 u and 1 more ?--does 5233 suports themes of nokia 5800xm and 5310xm

Wich phone do you think is best samsung star or nokia 5230? I'm looking for a phone with good quality loud speakers and easy to type fast.

althougth thor earphone is good, if you are using third party headphones. box pack headset is useless.

Yes, it supports 3G and 3.5G (HSDPA) connectivity, but it can't make videocalls.

Nokia 5230 is available now,i have seen it across many store in Hyderabad.But now it comes in WHITE colour only and datacable is added in the sales pack.Price INR 8200/- (Best Buy).

they have stop the supply of 5230 becoz it affects the sales of 5800.
so no chance that nokia will again launch the product in india.
go for 5233 if you dont bother about GPS & 3G.

The Earphones are quite good(IMO).And they are at an affordable price 450/-INR.Bass is tighter but not loud enough.
If you are normal listner,i suggest go for it or you can go for the next model E12LP.Which may cost u around 750/-INR.

Sumith:
5230 is the version of the phone with 3G, GPS
5233 is the version without 3G and GPS
5235 is the version that includes 3G and GPS, and also comes with a 12-month "Comes with Music" License.

I'm thinking of getting one of these phones but could anyone tell me what the screen is like? ie does it scratch easily? I Have a LG Cookie at the moment and the screen doesn't seem that durable.
