5233, 20 Feb 2010Hi, got Nokia 5233, very happy with the hs/ so far but the ... morei dont know whats the actual problem.but the blinking red dot indicates some application is trying to run in the background.

btw, i recommend user to install third party onscreen keyboard. with handy input u can choose wide range of onscreen keyboards including iphone style.

wifi is not everywhere. 3.5G is much better, accessible werevr ul go. great 5230, HSDPA & Symbian Touch powered smartphone at cheap price.

go to menu > messaging > option > setting > others > memory in use (choose your memory card)

5233 doesnt have 3G. better by this 5230 so that u can enjoy fast downloading. i recommend china phone than samsung one f u r only up for video n camera. china fon has tv receiver.

ive been married to this handset for weeks and i find it very impressive. i truly enjoy its operating system. its one of the cheapest smartphones today. if you dont know how to explore OS, better buy china phone or samsung.

Nokia phones have the same old habit of slowing down as we keep loading the memry card,(and this one's no different!!) pretty annoying at times. :-(

Im using 8gb microsd card and my phone gets slow when i open galery and wanna check info of mp4 video file! it freezzes and scroling doesnt work well! when im doing same in real player everything is fine! and opening some pics is very slow too! i have this problem just with files stored on microsd card!

Try to download "bluet0oth file manager", it allows u to browse the ph0ne and mem0ry card of any ph0nes which has bluet0oth enabled, and saves it directly in ur mem0ry card with0ut passing inb0x. Ü

I currently use Samsung 3500 that has QVGA videos @ 15 fps. Can any one please tell me how much superior is the video recording in Nokia 5233/5230, as compared to my Samsung s3500. Not in terms of specs, but in real terms.

Hi, got Nokia 5233, very happy with the hs/ so far but the battery does not last even for one day. I m not using the music option as well. Even when the is locked every 3-4 mins screen comes on and again goes blank again. When screen comes on there a small red dot blinking on top right hand side of screen. Can any one help we understand what is happening.
