Nokia5230 is a better than best smart phone of s60v5 in symban.I currently used such phone.it also works 95% of instal symban s60v5 out side farmware excelent.All TV channel played compartable through net.PLEASE REVISE LATEST SOFTWARE FUTURE IN NOKIA5230.THANKS NOKIA+++++

Pradeep, 16 Dec 2011There is almost same in specification and design for both m... morein nokia 5230 GPS and 3g fecility have::: ind noka 5233:only for 2g service:here no good bandwideth;;;;you unable to play live Tv in nokia 5233....but parches nokia 5230 its very nice and lovable mobile ::::::::::::::::

..about 5233 and 5230,both have the most similarities..
..both record video at vga 30fps..its a clear quality for me..
..and for which one is better,my answer will be n5230 coz it has 3g connection..
..hope that one helped you...

I bought a total of five 5230's for me and the wife over the last couple of years. Yes we are clumsy, and have dropped them.... Recently i did an update which now tells the ovi store my fone is not a 5230. I got onto nokia who have taken this update problem seriously, and are trying to resolve it for me. Still works ok, but have had to load skype etc from an alternative site.... Brilliant phones overall.

I have had my 5230 for almost two years now and it keeps getting better for every software upgrade. I considered replacing it last summer because of unstable behavior, but a factory reset solved it, and its working nicely since.
Camera still images could be better, and I miss wlan. Video is nice however, battery performance nice for a smartphone, nice size for a mobile phone. All in all: It is not a fancy as Android and Iphone, but it works!
