I wanted to buy Nokia 5230 right on the first day so i left my number with some Nokia priority dealers in Bangalore i got it from a dealer in TOTAL MALL Madivala
along with a gift for being the first customer to buy from them.I liked the phone very much its just like 5800 though the features are different appearance is the same that to at such a low price.

Yes it does, it comes with Mail for Exchange 2008 preinstalled.

i just bought this
cost me rm 750 or around USD 200 with 2GB memory card.
no stylus
no extra casing
made in hungary
battery made in korea
the manual in hungary
BUT...i am totally satisfied with the speed,UI...wanna see how long can it last on a single charge...
will tell u guys later after few days of abusing it...hehehe

Um.. i'm wondering, it was said in the review that it doesn't have a stylus, but here in the philippines, it has a stylus (it is inserted at the back cover like 5800) although 5230 hasn't released the phone on the nokia stores themselves (nokia phil are always late on their phones)..so which one really is it or the 5230 here are fake :| or has a different version ?

At Ghatkopar (Mumbai), the NPD confirmed today that 5230 will be available tomorrow morning.

i.e. if you use your phone for internet browsing over your network provider (and not Wi-Fi) the speed of data download will increase considerably provided :
1. Your network provider is 3G compliant
2. Your phone supports 3G
3. You have 3G activated on your mobile no.
The speeds of 3G are in the range of 384 kbps to 10 Mbps. But the speed you'll get will be determined by your network provider.
Another advantage of 3G is that the speed is high enough to support videocall i.e. if the person you want to talk to has the above three requisite and plus he/she has a secondary videocall camera on his/her phone you will be able to talk to them by looking at him/her on your screen and he/she will be able to do the same.
5230 has no video call camera and thus no videocall but you will have faster speed to access the internet provided 5230 has 3G. Check with your retailer before buying.

First they remove TV out from 5800 XM with a note on the back .... and now they have removed 3G from here???

Still not avlble in new delhi .
I have checked at rajouri garden nokia prirority dealer .they said it will take one more week to come
