Anonymous, 28 Aug 2009ok 10x i'll check the topic in fact i took 5530 one day bef... moreif you already have the 5530 than keep it.The 5230 is also a great phone and under sunlight it did not perform as well as i expected to but it's fine.

No Wifi....very hard ......Looks better but if it could be modified with inclusive of Wifi....thats great....

that 6k will cost u for wi-fi, 3.2 MP cam and loads of on-board applications which is pre-installed in 5800

5320 price is 10k while 5800 is at 16k only difference being no wi fi and 2mp cam.this is insane 6k just for wifi and 3.2mp poor cam.

people ... more Some people just want a touch phone for design and maybe want to use it as GPS from time to time; and its xpress music features (for the markets where 5230 will include this). Not all people use Wi-fi, which means that the ones that do and really need it, should go for 5530 or 5800.
You have to understand one thing: Nokia cannot let their models canibalise, it would be a bad investment in their logistics and resources. If this one had wi-fi, would of meant 5530 was released in vain as it wouldnt sell because its more expensive. And same result would have been for 5800 as well.
Thats why some of the phones got a kind of features, and some other features. Each phone adresses to a certain kind of buyers: in our case 5230 doesnt adress to the ones that want wi-fi and better camera.

It can be used if there is wireless lines or router within range. Sometimes the wi-fi ask for password for accessing the internet. It just like one in the most of laptop supporting feature this day. If you like to go over the internet, this function should or must available in your device.

Razlan, 28 Aug 2009i haven't used it under sunlight but i'l tell you when i te... moreok 10x i'll check the topic in fact i took 5530 one day before the announcement of 5230 but in 5530 the sunlight legibility is really bad and well 2.9 inches it's just not big enough for me but the only another alternative was 5800 which we all know how many problems there is with it 10x in advance again

come on people, for a budget handset, the video playback is 30fps, which is better than the samsung startlet and cookie, its normally seen on higher priced fones....anyword on the processor speed?

compare whith 5800 - no WiFi, lower camera (2mp) and price -70 EUR.
Is there someone, who pay 70EUR for WiFi & not-photo camera?

Its great that nokia is in too!
lets see what they have here...a 2mp camera, 3g, a touch screen bigger than cookie and star, fm, 3 mm thicker than above 2, 1200+ mAh battery and symbian 60.
i think it will be a good choice than star and cookie.
