Nokia and samsung are in competition in touch screen phones, samsung star S5230 Vs Nokia 5230 and samsung Star S5600 vs Nokia 5530XM, Nokia 6700 Vs Samsung S6700.
Both are good mobiles.
Lets see who's going to win it..,

This mobile is announced in india, it will be available soon for 10000 Rupees which is almost 150 Euros.
Finally India is going to get a mobile before the rest of the world even knows about it. (even if it is a downgraded version of 5800).

It is a great entry level phone with touch screen and it has all the right mixture of features in it.
The camera being only 2MP is not aproblem for me as I don't go around taking photos usingit. Istead I always rely on my digicam. The 30fps feature is good for taking short videos on the go.
Overall I would give this phone a 9/10 for its competitive pricing a features.

There are so many xpressmusic touchscreen phones.
I honestly dont know why they bothered with 5230 when 5800xm and 5530 already exist. Theres even a 5800 navigation edition.
If thats not enough, 5900xm shall most likely be announced next week.
Why doesnt nokia make an s40 xpressmusic phone and give it features like the 6700 classic? Im sure it would sell nicely like the famous 5310xm. Its been quite a while since they released an s40 music phone and the latest one thats due to be released (5530) has been removed from all the nokia websites (did it get cancelled?)

uhm when this will be out in the philippines. its cost ranges from 130 euros to 150 euros. it's cheap. don't complain with the 2 mp bcoz it's still good not that bad! even with no wifi! who the hell are you all! like this phone. it'll be out in the last qtr of 2009. it's screen is bigger than 5530 juz lyk 5800. hope it'll be out soon.

I can understand if nokia didn't want to put wifi. but the bizzare combination of 2M & video @30fps.. WTH? I think nokia better put 1.3MP or VGA camera on this phone if the price could reduced drastically. See.. some will complaint, to put 3.15mp will make the phone expensive..
So I say 2MP is useless, so nokia can change to 1 or 1.3mp I don't care but the price should also go down as it is should go up if they put 3.15 or 5mp on this. Agreed?

Incredible!!!We always complaine when phone does not have a flash and they still make those kind of phones.Thats just wrong!I love u nokia but u r really starting to make me angry.

The wait is over now 4 d people who r waiting 4 an affordable touch phone frm Nokia. It has all d feature which justify its price. Its going to be huge hit. But no need of 3g in it coz it doesnt hv secondary camera. Also in india 3g price is so high that dis feature goin 2 b useless .
