I am not locking the phone when I am making the call. The same thing happened to me with the previous version of this phone (I do not know the version number). It must be a defect with this phone type.
Browsing is slow, text messaging is slow and difficult to use. And it does not have WIFI!
Its not a good phone

This is not so gud phone,which i xpct........low baatry back up......its a 3g supportable.........

It switches off ran... morefirst you tell that is it occuring during making or listen call. if yes, then you should be lock your mobile during call by side lock key. i have also this prblem but now use this metjod i am so easily operate my phone without randomlly restart.

Anonymous, 18 May 2011This handset switches off randomly after 5-6 months of use..I have the same probem with this phone. It switches off randomly. I don't like it. It is cumbersome, difficult to use and bad for browsing.
I had the same problem with the previous version of the phone and I got it changed to this one. But the same problem occurs.

Is there any software thru which we can watch (indian) tv channels, i downloaded mundu tv but it shows only times now channel.
Also i downloaded angry birds game but cud not play it on the phone, i even signed the apa but to no avail.

waste mobile.....too slow ....slow processor results in slow net browsing even on 3g with a speed of 2mbps.....

5230 is the best mobile it was speed,video clarity is awesome, it was cheap and best,
bout wifi nt important because wifi will nt be there in all places 3g is better than wifi so forget bout wifi..
in nokia c5-03 video clarity is VGA@15fps
in nokia 5230 video clarity is VGA@30fps
video calling also waste because for every one they dont having video calling option so waste of that so finally nokia 5230 is best
